From /co/:

So i just came back from a preview screening of it. Very entertaining movie, but i want to watch it again before i pass my final judgment.

Laurence Fishburne is awesome as the voice of the Silver Surfer

Galactus is some kind of galactic storm, we never actually see a big purple guy with a hat, but the cloud has "hands" and at one point, we see the shadow and it's in the shape of the hat, but nothing else.

The FF switch powers because of Johnny's fight with the Surfer, something about making his molecules in constant flux or something along those lines. If he makes contact with anyone else, they swap powers.

The end is pretty stupid, Silver Surfer defeats Galactus all by himself. They don't explain how, he goes "imma charging my lasar" and Galactus is defeated. This was pretty much the only the only thing i hated about the movie.

Wait. Itīs a ship? So my fanboy rage was for naught?

I am looking forward to Fantastic Four: Rise of the silver surfer. It seems like a improvement over the first fantastic movie and it seems more interesting than the first.

Are you suggesting someone actually wants to see this movie?

They're drawing TOO much influence from the Ultimate stuff.

I guess this movie is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything...

Don't see it. It sucked. I know it's based off the comic books, but it didn't explain anything into detail, and for 3/4 of the movie I was laughing at how retarded the "silver surfer" looked on that retarded surf board. The previews shown before this movie were better.

At least Jessica Alba was hott....

Me my brother and My cousin saw the display for the Silver Sufer, the night we saw Pirates 3, and we all though CopreSun? I thought it would be quite humorous to tape a CopreSun packet to the guy's hand.

Maybe F4-2 is a sweet movie with a bad aftertaste.

And it wasn't just us three who thought that too, we saw a bunch of people look at it confused lol. I found myself ROFLINGMAO

For me, not in this movie. She looked like she was rejected from that movie "White Chicks".

If you wanted Sue Storm to be Mrs White, why not cast somebody that looked like her?

Capri Sun was exactly what I thought when I saw the previews a while ago.

I just hope my purist Marvel fanboyness comes out like whenever I watch a marvel superhero movie. But it's probably going to happen. Remember the last F4 movie? Reed/Sue/Dr. Doom love triangle? And, "Let's look at Gamma Rays while Dr. Doom funds our space shuttle." WTF is that?

Iīm not sure, but I think that was at least hinted in the comics as happening in the future, until writers retconned Valeria Von Doom into being Reedīs kid to keep from being creepy.

FF3 need The Sub Mariner. Did you watch the cartoon last week? It was like a cow layed a diamond studded turd. He just redeemed the entire show.

I thought the second movie was much better than the first. I liked everything about it, except for the end with Galactus... Kinda lame, but at least it leaves an opening for the Silver Surfer spin off.

I fell asleep for ten minutes towards the end because I was tired. Maybe because sexy Julian McMahon wasn't in them?:P

It is already written by J. Michael Straczynski.

The movie really lacked a center of gravity and a sense of scope.

Doom is completely misportrayed and has some of the worst lines ever. "How about we go for a spin". C'mon.

See, I'm ahead of the curb. However Time Police forbid me from revealing the your current(previously future) avatar to a feeble and developing time.

Also I was gonna see this movie but the chick ditched SO I WENT AND HUNG WITH MY HOMIES...and then it started pouring rain suddenly :(

Bad as it was, I still enjoyed it.

It reminded me of the sort of superhero comic I used to read in the 70's, before being an angstridden ball of superpowered guilt became a requirement for superherodom. There were serious continuity errors, sure. In the end, I went to a superhero movie to turn off my brain for a bit and watch Good Guys punch Bad Guys with cool special effects and Jessica Alba in skintight lycra. I wasn't disappointed.

Much like Ghost Rider, it's a comic book animated. Thing is, comic books aren't necessarily good movies, critically speaking. :P
