Well, my opinion of Gaara has changed as he's grown as a character. At first, he was clearly an antagonist, but as the series progresses, and especially post time-skip Naruto, his character becomes one with much more meaning. So while he started off as creepy, he's gained a lot of respect as his character changed and grew.

Just as I feel. I do't know if I should call him my favorite, but his devielopment definately standsout throughout the ongoing series.

That Gaara had always a cool techniques with his sand. Makes him cool focourse but still he with that lame exploding- people-in-sand-move it's like okay how do you win against that lamety :lol: .

I really didn't like him in the beginning, but when we found out about his childhood and all, then I found respect for Gaara. Then i was introduced to the GaaraxHinata pairing, and I had more respect. Now, as soon as I can find some post time-skip, from what I've heard, he will be on my top character list.

Gaara is slightly less cool in Shippuden, but a lot more likeable. I've always liked the character, but in no way is he a favourite of mine. He's just one more cool character among many. The majority of the characters are cool in some way or another so everyone will like different characters. Personally, my favourites are Team Gai.

'Shippuuden' is the 'three years later' story which you'll see in a couple years.

They get to a certain point in the story, then jump forward three years. Everyone is a couple years older, stronger, and more mature.

You'll love Gaara at the start of it. What happnes to him in the first arc is interesting. I'm dying to see if the anime watchers will love or hate it.

i put hes ok for me but its only cause there wasn't a option to vote that hes super cool and a good character. i agree he was creepy and a bit mean from the beginning but his character develops into a normal stable person who's just super strong with cool techniques although kakashi is my favorite gaara is definitely in my top 5 of best naruto characters.

He is one of my favorite characters in Naruto, I love creepy characters.:P Plus I'm a fan of Liam O'Brien and he is amazing as Gaara.
