Great series, ending was pure unadulterated crap. I swear Lucas had to do something with this script it was so weak. They need to show him either getting his head blown off or not.

I feel a great disturbence in the force, as if millions of people are canceling the HBO subscriptions all at once.

(SMALL SPOILER WARNING)
Of course the ending was weak me and my dad thought the cable cut out. I loved when phil got shot and the car ran over his head. What also pissed me off is how they screwed with your mind through the camera angles on the last scene which made you think Tony was going to get shot.

I liked the ending. As keeping with series' tradition of holes in the plot and figure it out yourself moments, the ending wasn't necessarily unexpeceted. I knew many people would be idssapointed because there wasn't a bloodbath, but I actually was very pleased.

With the Sopranos over, once again NJ has nothing going for it. It wasn't as good as I would've hoped but then again the last episodes were pretty "meh" as a whole.

yeah my thoughts too. i have known too many whiny kids like him and I've wanted them all to get killed too.
Am I the only one that watches the other HBO shows as well. Entourage still makes the HBO subscription worthwhile I think. i kind of like Big love when I occasionally catch it. Oh and Curb Your Enthusiasm is funny to me. now if only HBO would have Dream On reruns it would definitely be worth it

I think Haro! should've taken over as acting boss of New Jersey.

Awesome idea though I'm Brooklyn's own. I would have changed my avatar to Phil Leotardo had he not been killed, and umm had I liked him as a character.

My dad just sent this to me:
I guess this came off some HBO website...I don't know how true it is, but it makes so sense and it makes me feel a little better about the whole ending!
The guy at the diner bar was Nikki Leotardo. The same actor played him in the first part of season 6 during a brief sit down concerning the future of Vito. Apparently, he is the nephew of Phil. Phil's brother
Nikki Senior was killed in 1976 in a car accident. I guess David Chase is rewarding the true fans who pay attention to detail!
So the point would have been that life continues and we may never know the end of the Sopranos. But, if you pay attention to the history, you will find that all the answers lie in the characters in the restaurant. The trucker was the brother of the guy who was robbed by Christopher in Season 2. Remember the DVD players? The trucker had to identify the body. The boy scouts were in the train store and the black guys at the end were the ones who tried to kill Tony and only clipped him in the ear (in season 2 or 3).
