How Do You Get Videos on Youtube?

I wanna get some videos of our school Talent Show on Youtube but I can't. It's making me angry.

1) Sign up (register a new profile).

2) Go to your "my account".

3) Upload using the "upload new video" button under the "video" section.

Besides that.
I don't know if I can open the files at all because every time I do it says that the upload failed.
