Yeah, quick question who do you think is the strongest shinobi? In my opinion Naruto is the strongest. Most people dont know and think OMG SASUKE PWNS YOU. But no it is really naruto.

I don't think that Naruto will become the strongest shinobi... because strength.. in terms of being a Shinobi, comes from many different aspects of being a ninja. I also think that Naruto will not have to face all of the powerful Shinobi directly. Itachi... leader of Akatsuki... etc... Afterall, Naruto is all about teamwork... With the coming of the second Naruto we see that the fights aren't as solo'd up as before.

Yondaime is, well at least was the strongest. His speed as its portraited in the Narutimett game series rivals speeds commonly seen in Dragon Ball, that and the fact he can warp were ever he wants when ever he wants. But in terms of raw strength, Tsunade with ease.

True, but remember who actually won that fight.

Naruto isn't the strongest (currently). If he were, he'd be able to easily beat Kakashi on his own, yet even with Sakura's help they had to trick him to get the bells. And while Kakashi is stong, I would only say he's the strongest Jounin in Konoha. Maybe when borrowing Kyuubi's power he's strongest, but then can you really say it's Naruto who is strong? :)

Based on what we've seen so far (in the anime, I haven't read ahead in the manga) I would have to say Itachi is the strongest. Orochimaru gave Jiraiya and Tsunade quite a bit of trouble in their fight, so it can't be either of them, yet Orochimaru admits that Itachi is stronger than him.

Sandaime held back from the beginning of that fight because he still felt guilty about killing his own protoge. But you are right, Orochimaru is indeed a strong shinobi. But I doubt that he is stronger. Plus he didnt do most of the fighting, he had the first two Hokage's ressurected (well he attempted to ressurect three) and he had those two practically beat up Sandaime-Sama..

personally, i believe the the "strongest" ninja is determined by their sacrafice; which nin has put the most sacrafice into the pursuit of their ambitions. On that note, I'd say Gaara is strongest. (He may not have won every battle he's been in... but this isn't "who has won the most battles?") He was neglected, rejected, and demeaned all his life and grew the heart (w/ the help of our little Naruto) to put himself before his entire village. Though he didn't feel an ounce of love almost his entire life, he has learned to love those around him more than anything else...

It's true that Naruto went through similar times... but Gaara's lasted so much longer... Naruto had Iruka as soon as he graduated if not earlier... and there are a bunch of flashbacks throughout the series that show him sneaking out of class to play with Shikamaru, Chouji, and Kiba... Gaara didn't have ANYTHING till he fought Naruto...

We know he is the strongest person in the sand village because he defeated the strongest kazekage aka the third, and Chiyo-bah-sama and Sakura couldn't even defeat him, he let himself die.
He can make puppets out of anyone.
One of his puppets is the third kazekage.

in terms of brute strength? from what we've seen, I'm gonna have to go with Sakura or Tsunade. Combine that with their 'womanly intimidation', they can easily strike fear into the soul of anyone.

in terms of tactics? obviously Shikamaru. His only downfall might be he's TOO smart. (See his battle with Tenmari in the Chuunin exams.)

i agree u nick i think those girl make up a good good brute strenghth team and shikamaru is tottally the tactics(he is so smart about that u would probly call him a nerd)
