Anyone into DJ Scotch Egg, Ove Naxx, Utabi or other such electronic geniuses?

Which Autechre album did ya buy?
Ive never heard of any of the artists youve mentioned either.
*Funny how that works, heh.*
Scotch Egg, Utabi and Ove Naxx are all japanese artists.
Scotch Egg is like gabber style, Utabi is more chilled out glitchy, 8-bit type stuff, whilst Ove Naxx is like a nice cross between the two.
SQUAREPUSHER OWNS!!!
Have you heard Music is Rotted One Note?
Its probably the least accessible of his albums. Weird downtuned jazzy type stuff. Not much in the way of beat slicing or anything electronic but really cool though.
Hara!

chiastic slide is the autechre record i got. i've heard tri repetae is the best.
yeah, i like music is rotted one note. my favorite squarepusher is probably go plastic.
if you're not familiar with aphex twin, you need to correct that immediately. pick up the richard d james album or drukqs.
what's gabber style exactly? never heard that term before.

Chiastic Slide is a wicked album, Go Plastic is probably my second favourite SQP album (Big Loada all the way for me), and I am familiar with both of those Aphex Twin albums although im not as deep into Aphex as I am with SQP.
Gabber is like hard rave but its all about the beat. Synths take a back seat to punishing kick drums, hahahahaha. Not to everyones taste though.

Yeah I was gonna name the thread Breakcore but i opted for KFC Core for a couple of reasons. One being that breakcore is a term that , in my opinion, is flung about stupidly. I wouldnt really class Utabi as breakbeat, even if it is heavily sliced.
The other reason is that KFC-Core is the tag DJ Scotch Egg has given his own music. PLUS I actually just got a job workin at KFC. So there ya go. hahahahahaha.
