it's the piano version of the opening theme "we were lovers" that eugenie plays a few times during the series. was this released on a soundtrack? and if so, what is it's name? i can't seem to find any information on this. any help would be appreciated.

I actually haven't gotten around to watching the series yet, but I don't hear any straight piano version of "we were lovers" on the OSTs.

Considering "We were lovers" features a piano in the back round, it's probably the song you are hearing. In the beginning of the song it plays the piano part with out the lyrics.

i appreciate your reply, but eugenie plays a vocalless piano version of the song at a specific point in the series (sorry i don't have an episode number). the music extends longer than the intro for the opening song, so it is in fact an alternate version. whether it exists on an OST or elsewhere is what i am looking to find out.

To my knowledge the track has never been released. However, I'll browse through the episodes with the song and see if it's possible to rip it. Do you have any specific episode numbers/times you could give me?

It should be episode 24, atleast within the last 5 minutes...

That should give some sort of idea.

EDIT:: Oh, the piano version Eugenie does, well.. I don't know that one. :P
