While sitting to watch 28 weeks they showed a preview on resident evil :D
It looks a little more betetrthan that last one :D
So I just hope it will be good :D
Also herad Sin city 2 will be comming around :D

And I still loved Grind house :D

I didn't find the first Resident Evil movie unbearable, but the second one, with zombies busting from the cometary, was pathetic.

This one obviously has strayed away from anything to do with the video games which is quite sad.

True, the first movie wasn't so bad but I would have liked it better if there wasn't so much rock during fights. It cut down from the dramatic effect.

Advent Children and The Spirits Within were feature-length squaresoft features, but they weren't live-action, no.

what i dont get is this movie has nothing to do with any of the games i believe, its in the middle of the desert

RE5 is hinted to be a desert locale, according to some interview info (mainly stuff about mirages and heat warnings).

Three threads involving 28 weeks later, hot damn. I remember I watched five minutes of the first movie, and they showed some dudes penis and I said "Wow, this movie is really popular? I didn't know so many people were attracted to penis!"

Rather than try and compare them to the games I look at the Resident Evil movies as stand alone films using references from the games rather than based on the games, which is what they are meant to be. I thought the first one was good as a stand alone RE movie other than as stated previously, the rock music during the fights did detract some of the glimmer to the film in taste. As for the second one, I got more laughs rather than enjoyment, not to say it was a horrible movie, but it just wasn't all that good either. I think their first mistake was having Jill Valentine make a Cameo in the movie, if they hadn't done that the movie would have done better as a stand alone film of the RE franchise.
