(If you do not enjoy the REsident Evil games/Movies, Geroge Ramero's work (night of the living dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the dead, Land of the dead), Fusha's movies (Zombie, Renvenge of the Dead) Then please consider joining this. This RPG will contain violence, blood, gore, and death. If this bothers you then do not join.

"The world of tomorrow today!!!!!" The old sign said reminding anyone still able to understand it when the turning point was. The world had collapased due to the new bio weapon created by the World Medical Super Company known as Pinwheel. Each person could remember things like taking a sunday ride, watching a movie with friends, eating at freakin McDonals for God's sake. But now if you so much as stuck your head out in the sun one of the creatures that might have been a friend, family, or neighbor would sneek up on you and bite you on the ***.

Jake Currton thought to himself as he set quietly along the reinforcements he had made in the old house he found durning the day. Luckly enough he had the sence to keep moving. These things even though they where nearly impossible to kill where slow and if you could keep moving you would be safe enough. He didn't think about the ones still out there searching for a safe place. Changes where tomorrow they would be members of the dead.

"Bastards... damn it All I wanted was to find a place to lay low. Why should I care about some snot nosed kids. Their own damned fault for not staying in their house." He thought as the memory of the kids following him haunted his thoughts for a moment. He looked at the meger weapons on his person. In a holster was the .22 revolver he had bought for home protection. It had proven useful, but limited. You nearly had to be on one of the bastards for it to work. Then there was that 9mm glock he found on the dead police man. Having shot the cop in the head to ensure that he stayed dead he took the gun and the single extra clip with it. Then there was his switch blade knife. Not much good it would do. Yep all in all he was pretty screwed.

He looked around for a radio. Doubting that any station was still on air he wanted at least to see if someone was stupid enough to attempt to tell people where to go for military aide. The thought that there might still be a military was laughable. After all he had seen the bulk of the national guard still in america over run a few months ago. searching in the dark and not expecting anything he found a small battery operated radio and turned it on. Finding static he began changing stations. Nearly ready to quit he found a signal. Turning the volume up a little the sound of a voice other than his own filled the small room.

"I repeat if you can hear this, then there is hope. Station Krzb has been kept on air as part of the emergcy brodcast system. We had the following locations that are free from the flesh eaters. Fort Riner, Sister Mary's Church on Highway 81 south, and here at the Krzb station. If you can hear this message please report to one of these safe points." The voice said before repeating the announcement again.

Jake wondered exactly how long this message had been playing and then wondered if others would go to one of them. Knowing better he had to see if other survivors where there. At the least he could get a better weapon or more ammo. Nodding to himself he deceded to leave at sun up.

This RPG is based in a world where zombies have pretty much over ran the rest of the world. As par George Ramero's famious Living dead series, shooting, stabing them, or bashing in their heads will destroy them. Most weapons will not have ammo and it can be traded for or found through out the game. Merchants will be set up and trading is as such.

1 box ammo = 2 day supply of food, 2 box of batteries, or saving merchant from death.

Gun Upgrade = Saving Merchant from death, 2/3 food or supplies in pack, or trading in higher powered weapon.

food can be found in most connvent stores, grocery stores, super centers, ect. Each time traveled inside of one these potential 'hot' spots you will encounter a zombie at least every third post. To maintain every third post I would suggest killing them quietly. If they are killed by a weapon that makes a lot of noise (Gun, explosives, glass or other breakables.) it will attact more zombies and will occur encounters every post until the escape or death of the character. If you choose for your character to die you can control them as a Zombie. Which they can travel to places they have been, and attack those that they already know.

Quick Weapons: Weapons that are not normal weapons by any means. Bricks, pipes, wrenches, glass shards, metal scrap (from various explosions, car crashes, ect...) can be used if found. If Wrench or brick it can be used continuous until a better weapon is found. If glass shard one time only. If Metal scrap max of 5xs. If pipe max of 20xs.

Lucky weapons: Lucky weapons is finding a shotgun, rifle, or pistol in a bar, super center, or sporting goods store. The reason they are called lucky weapons is because you can only find a max of 3 per six months that pass in the game. If you find all three at the beginning of the game that is fine, but remember you can't find a "Hundred million boxes of ammo." by it. Going by what happened finding a box of ammo per weapon is part of it being lucky. No more than that.

Ammo boxes:
9mm = 40 bullets

357 mag = 25 bullets

30.30 rifle = 20 shells

Shot guns (4.10 - 20 gauge) = 15 shells



Chainsaws: Chainsaws can be used as weapons. They may be found as lucky weapons and as such are welcomed to have one bottle of chainsaw mix for gas, and gallon of gas not far from chainsaw. Chainsaws gas unlike shells will not mearly go on a shot fired. Gas will be messured by enemies destroyed by weapon. 100 zombies = I gallon of gas.


Ashley Williams: As the name implies this is the main character of Evil Dead. Thus the shotgun and chainsaw armed near god of the movies and games. You may have a character like Mr. Williams, but they are able to be damaged like any other characters.

groups: Safety in numbers is both right and wrong. If you are in a group it is more likely you will live. However large groups will attract the living dead. It's basically a large sign saying all you eat right here. Small groups are preferred to large ones.

Safe Houses: Houses that you or your group has taken over from the living dead by slaying them or getting away from them in. These houses are safe havens from the dead armies. However they must be reinforced. you can reinforce them from funture inside of the house. But doing too much at once will attract the living dead. (Sorry folks they like noise. It means food here.)

Pinwheel facilities: Factories of the now slient corperate Giant. These factories house more than the living dead including their other 'Experments'. However inside is a fortune of first aid equipment, weapons, protective garments (Each protective Garment aquired reduces the chances of attack.), and survivors that have medical knowlage.

Zombie attacks: Zombies have three main attacks: Bitting, grabbing, and hitting. If bitten you must go to a pinwheel facility and find a large med kit. Inside of them is a vial that will stop the virus from mutating and thus it will not kill you.

Character Attacks: If close to a Zombie you can get head shots/trama each time. and kill them. If far away it is harder to do with pistols and impossible with short range weapons. Long range weapons such as rifles are able to take out zombies from long distances but have limited amounts of ammo that can be carried inside of them at one time.

(Certainly... Although the strenght isn't completely set, but 5 * rating is normal grown human strenght. Intellgence is based on both age of character and experence of survial in this world.)

Special Skills: trained by his father he is able to pick locks.

Bio: Jake recently graducated Highschool and had went back to work with his father at Currton's Locksmith shop. His father had taught him everything he knew about picking locks and making new keys before the outbreak began. Once the dead began coming back to life Jake watched his father die at the hands of several of the living dead. Having wittnessed this he nearly went numb with his own emontions and headed back to his apartment. Inside he gathered his only weapon a .22 revolver that his father had sold him and his box of ammo for it. Taking off he traveled the city looking for a safer place to hide out. Watching the maddness outside he tried to stay away from everyone believing that everyone else would turn eventually. Finally on one of the rare days he traveled out he came accross his father's reanimated corpse. Knowing what he had to do he put a bullet between its eyes. Hearing more of the living dead coming his way he ran down an alley and found a dead police man. The man had his throat torn out and his chest ripped open. He took the 9mm glock off of the cop and shot him. Moving further into the town he wittnessed a couple of kids running out in the street away from a house. Seeing a corse following him he shot it and gained two followers. They didn't know that he killed the corpse not to save them, but to save himself from harm. The children followed him into a part of town that was bad anyway where he entered into an older house. He believed that the children where outside in the darkness but they had managed to climb into the attic. He believes that his survivial is the only one that he needs to worry about but will help others if it can benefit himself. Sort of a shut in he doesn't let anyone get close enough to hurt him again.

Recent background:
Alex was a student who took several advanced chemistry classes at the local university. His family lived out of town, and he had not yet contacted them. He ran track, and now had no clothes other than his track clothes. He had been out training when the s*** hit the fan, and had not settled down since returning to the city. After a small amount of laying low, he had found a small local highschool. In it, he found that the vending machines hadn't been completely ransacked, and the chemistry lab was untouched. He got the lab into what he considered a somewhat functional state . A raid on the local drugstore produced little besides broken glass and the knowledge that others had sought the same things he did, but the corner store held lighters and the previous owner's katana.
Alex set out to do two things. He made small fortifications in the school, just enough to alert him, slow down any invaders, and allow him time to escape. More importantly, he began to use the lab. He took certain chemicals, and began to produce a few useful substances. He had a small amount of somewhat impure aspirin, and had stocks of hydrogen gas, in case he needed the lab to go up in flames.
He used the various tools from shop class, physics, and the maintenacne closet to make some makeshift launchers for chemicals. Only the short rangers spraying and squirting weapons, more like cans and squirt guns actually, were complete, and of those he only had a small thing of hydrocholric acid loaded. He had partially completed other projects, including an unwieldy flamethrower and even had plans for a crossbow, but nothing was in close to usable condition. he worked as quietly as possible, but knew that he would soon have to leave his pseudo fortress for another site.
He carried Hydrochloric acid, lighters, propane, silver, aspirin, magnesium, sodium, a few other chemicals in small amounts, plus food and vitamin water from the vending machines, in his backpack.

Caine great character. There is no series I am afraid. This RPG is a basic Living Dead/Zombie RPG. The main influence on it are both from The Resident Evil and living dead (night of, Dawn of, Day of, Land of the) Series. ((Capcom and George Ramero respective owners)).

However this RPG although following most of their basic rules (Zombies can only be killed either by destroying the brain or decaptating them completely.).

(Yeah it would be nice if other people would join. I like the idea of this RPG and anyone who is a fan of the Living Dead series, or Walking dead comics would love this RPG. Bio: Raised in the small town Jason tried to get out by joining the military. He succedded for a while until he caught a bullet in the left arm and was sent home. He has used his military training up to the outbreak to run a small survival camp on the outskirts of town. Since the outbreak he has been using his training to stay alive and one step closer to finding a non infected area. Knowning that these things will go where there is living flesh to feed on he believes it safer to stay on the go and only stops when nessary. He tends to stay within about a ten minute walk of the local supercenter and has kept only quiet weapons.

I'm thinking of introducing a new character, for a number of reasons

Name: Ellen Levine
Age: 27
Height: 5'8
Weight: 140
Strength: 5
Intelligence: 4
Clothing: Boots, jeans, hoodie, mountainboking gloves. All clothing has been sewn in with various material to make it more bite durable and hopefully bite resistant.
Weapons: Bow (20 arrows), hunting knife. She also carries other items which can be used as weapons, including a hatchet and a shovel, though other than the kinfe, the weapons aren't always on her person.
Special skill: survivalist

Bio: Ellen always loved nature. As a child, she would go off into the woods, sometimes for days. As she grew, she branched out into rock climbing, hunting, cycling, canoeing, and camping. When things first got tense, she was ready. She took out loans, and sold most of what she had. She invested in even more equipment. She could survive almost indefinitely in the wilderness. Along with a few others, she has set up a system of "safehouses," which are simply fairly secure places to sleep in the woods, and occassionally some useful equipment. They are also places where others are likely to be for information exhcange and whatever help may be necessary.
She travels by means of a mountain bike hooked up with a custom cart, in which she carries such things as a tent, small amounts of food and water, and some of her tools. It seems like she carries a lot, though she can carry more, but she feels its better to be able to leave and start up again elsewhere.

It serves as a close range weapon, but she can take opponents by surprise with its long range capabilities, as the blade can extend into a chain-like extension, capable of tying someone up or crushing solid metal within its coils. She can attack long range by using the chain to slice through incoming attacks or to slash an opponent with her extended reach.

Standing a 162cm she is rather tall for a girl while she is only 45kg in weights, while she is also quite a full bosom. Her hair is a light brown almost blond colour, with thin eyebrows which from her bright reddish brown eyes. She has pale skin and has adopted a Kyoto accent after living there for a umber of years. She wears a short black skirt with pleats at the bottom, due to the shortness of her skirt her movements are unrestricted. She also wears a snow white skirt with a red bow that is tied around the neck. Over that she has a cream coloured jacket that accents her calm demeanour and grace. On her legs she has knee high black socks with a white band around the top and brown leather shoes. Just above her backside hangs two sheaths where her black tinted blades are held, the blades enter one from each side for easy access. She carries her Naginate where ever she goes, she has no where to keep it but it can easily break through materials and can free stand.


Personality:

Millia Rinslet, a calm and graceful person normally found drinking a cup of tea she never seems phased by any situation. She is also known for her ambiguous attitude have a large appetite for sensual pleasures, during her time on the boarding school boat she had a fan club due to here Kyoto accent and beauty though It mainly comprised of females. Though because of her nature she is known for doing immoral deeds to people around her. She has also been remarked to be like a Sengoku Period noble women because of her calm and graceful nature they where also expected to be able to defend there families.

But under the surface she trust few people after learning that her parents had been working with the people that had unleashed the virus on the world. Though for those few that she does trust she treasures them, even to the point where she falls in love with them. She defends anyone that she trusts and will sacrifice herself to protect them. A graceful fighter, always calm, profound in a number of hand to hand weapons. Anyone that has faced her has ended up dead or severely beaten.

Yeah i'd be interested in a Zombie RPG, but only if we get enough people. 2 person RPGs are good, but i don't personally like them. 4 people and up is good.

good like getting 4. It's lucking if you get 3 into one. And keeping them is the thing as well. I have several that are going on now that The people haven't been on in awhile.
