My mind really has'nt changed on the outcome, even though Oscar has been training with Shane.
With their styles of boxing clashing together really doesn't scream excitment, you'd probably have to be a fan to appreciate it, who knows anything is possible.
I'll give Oscar some befefit he does have him in the strength department and expierence in that weight class. Other than that even with the pounds that Floyd has packed on his speed is still far superior, defense and overall boxing skill goes in his favor as well. The only way I see Oscar winning is by massive help on the score cards or he some how manages to catch him with that left hook which I doubt cause Floyd is too smart to brawl with him.

Still don't think this is as big as its blown up to be, I am ordering it out of curiousity all though their going to have to really wow me for me to believe the $55 is worth it.

Maywether TKO 10th.

Mayweather is going to win, though I'd like Oscar to win it. Pert of me thinks half the fight is going to be Mayweather running away, and there's no way De la Hoya is going to keep up.

Ouch. My cable tv service is only charging 18 dollars for the match. Though I'm obviously not gonna see it. I'd personally like to, but my mom won't.

Most of my money is on Oscar and the rest is on Mayweather.

Bah!... Oscar lost!... What an average and annoying fight... That fight was so not worth $55 of PPV... Good thing I saw it for free...

Ouch. My cable tv service is only charging 18 dollars for the match.Wish it were that much, thats about the price it was worth. 1st fight on the card was more exciting.

After the 6th the fight was already decided, had Floyd 9 to 3. Thought he was merciful in this fight, what fight was that one judge polling for Oscar watching.

Wow! finding out that Bernard is facing Winky later this summer :w00t: That I'm looking forward to.

Worst fight ever. Seriously. De La Hoya was just lost in the ring. Mayweather just owned him up pretty bad. Either way, bad fight.

It was annoying how obvious it was that De La Hoya was gonna lose... It's like holding to dear fate that the fight would turn 360 by the end.... But it didn't... And Mayweather Jr. is too damn cocky...

The fight was quite lousy but I've seen worse. Mayweather although he won didn't put his money where his mouth was. De la Hoya we all expected to lose and he didn't do much to change our expectations.

The thing about Oscar is, that he's an outboxer. He sucks as an inboxer. You could clearly see it in his punches when he had Mayweather in the corner against the ropes. He took TOO many wide swings and didn't keep them compact. Thus, he got tired too quickly and basically didn't know how to fight against his own style. He stopped throwing his jab out after the 4th round and Mayweather just picked him apart from there on out.

Oscar could throw ALL the punches in the world, but Mayweather's were the ones connecting when they were thrown.

And as for Mayweather's cockiness: It's to be expected. You're always gonna have one or two boxers that will trashtalk to no end. Just him dressing up as Blackman Ranchero Sanchez was enough to get the point across that he was there to win. It was just a horrible match in the end. Mayweather could have gone for the kill easily after the 5th round. Those bodyshots Oscar delivered must have been cottoncandy to the midsection because Floyd was still running around and dodging punches.

And if you noticed, when Oscar had Floyd at the ropes, he would go for a left/right combination and then back away a whole foot. If you're in there, just keep swinging. But, his inboxing was horrible. So, that didn't help him at all.

I almost wish I could start watching boxing again, but these PPVs are expensive as all hell. Leeching off friends ftw.

Wow. Didn't see that coming. I was kinda rooting for De La Hoya...but then again, I'm more of a UFC person, than boxing.

Anywho, money match of the century: Sendo vs Rurouni.

Who are you picking? :P

I was awake when the fight began. It was some four rounds and I thought De La Hoya was winning...

Then I slept.

The time I woke up Mayweather won.
WTF.

As soon as the "fight" ended, I watched Ali vs. Frazier III to make up for it. My mind is at peace now.

Honestly I felt De la Hoya won the fight. Mayweather did get more punches in, and some of those punches were damn good. But the thing is Most of the punches mayweather threw were quick fast weak most likely open handed jabs design to keep your opponent away from you and to rack up points. This is why mayweather backed away most of the match and clinched when de la hoya got close.

On the other hand you have de la hoya, which was mainly going for strong body hooks. And even though de la hoya went for more body shots, mayweather still had a swolen eye and cheek at the ending of the fight. And Oscar only had a bruised cheek. So I think that is even more proof that most of the punches thrown by mayweather were weak. And oscar most likely did more damage. And if anyone remembers awhile back oscar lost to mosley even though he landed much more punches, But thats because mosley was landing harder and more solid punches.
