Raiders got Jamarcus Russell WHOO WHOOOOOOOODon't be to sure.
They could go with Calvin just as fast and Jamarcus could be off to Detroit(they need a QB just as bad). Especially if that Culpepper rumor comes true, as laughable as it sounds him and Moss together again might be interesting.

Dallas will more and likely go with a corner or saftey, other than that I don't see any other holes that desperatley need attention. Could use another lineman, although Jerry picked up a pretty expensive wall(Davis) for Romo in the off.

Well the raiders have the 1st pick and they would be stupid not to take Russell. Calvin Johnson is probably the best overall player in the draft but the raiders need a quarterback first and foremost.

Well the raiders have the 1st pick and they would be stupid not to take Russell.Very true. But it goes without saying that Kiffen is not entirley in control of that, we'll just have to sit back and see if the genius that is Al Davis botches this. IMO either choice seems like it could work, if they can revamp that line.
Raiders are kinda lucky that offense is their only big issue, the D was ranked 3rd overall last year. Thats not bad for being the worst in the league, thats actually kinda scary.

I think hes predicted to go to the lions now but ya the bucs will definately pick him up. I cant wait to see who San Diego gets, Even though we are number 30 Im hoping we get Dwayne Jarret or Steve Smith.

I'm not sure the Lions are so keen on drafting ANOTHER 1st round "superstar receiver" given their poor track record over the past few drafts (think Williams, Williams, and Rogers). I'm interested in what the Eagles do myself...

Wide receivers are a dime a dozen (just ask the lions). Taking a WR in the Top 10 is nine times out of ten asking for a bust. History will tell you: Wide receivers are incapable of turning your franchise around. QB's can, RB's can, WR's can't. If you have holes in your QB and/or RB position, the WR position is not something you want to be taking first priority towards.

Russell is one of the most complete QB's to come along in years. It would be foolish for half the NFL teams not to take him with the first pick.

Detroit taking another WR, big surprise there.

Can't believe the Browns passed up on Quinn with their first pick and got him with their second.

Can someone tell me what Dallas got for trading their pick?

^Some early picks beyond round 3, there could be some hidden talent there IMO.
It was a bold move, seems Jerry has some allies in Cleveland.
Cowboys don't really put a whole lot of emphasis on drafts but we've lucked it getting some decent talent on D over the past few years. Spencer is a pretty good pass rusher, it'll take some pressure off Roy. Its a shame, alot of the good Corners were taken early.

I like and dislike Houston's pick, Amobi is gonna be an instant stud. But it doesn't do much for Shaubb.

Atleast the Bucs are going to get some fresh talent for the aging D. I'm still pissed at Detroit but whatever. Anyone else surprised the Miami was retarded and passed on Quinn? And wtf 6 hours for the 1st round @_@ and I watch 3-4 of it.

They said it was the longest 1st round in the history of the draft.
Personally I found this years to be a bit overblown in comparison to last years prospects.
Its a giant craps shoot anyway, you just don't know how these dudes are going to translate.
