Yea, definitely not as good as I was expecting, but at least it wasnt Raven.

This one chapter a month is killing me...

Yeah, but it's nothing like Naruto or Bleach or anything like that. The chapters are like 30 pages long, or 2-3 times the size of a weekly run manga. The wait still hurts though.

I knew if I ballparked it someone would insist on correcting me. *sigh* As for the twist though....it was kinda meh. They didn't really drop any prior hints for it to astound me in any way or leave me with that, "Damn it! Why didn't I think of that?" feeling.

But it's not a bad character choice. Kind of interesting. Besides, we're lacking the anime version of Wrath, so it's only fitting to have some incarnation of a youth in the mix. And this is one of the more interesting potential ones.

I would've much rather have Arakawa gone with the "Bluebirds Illusion" Pride (for those who don't know, Ed dies in the game and becomes Pride). I think it would've been a cool twist, if not it being Ed (they could say a part of him was seperated when going through the gate, or something), maybe a twin brother?

But when the leader didn't recognize who he was, I knew that theory was shot down.

What game was that? That sounds bad ***. I have a feeling the game wasn't though.

It was a fan-made game called Hagaren Ocean X or Bluebird's Illusion. Its basically both a fighting game & sim (mulitple choice question/answers/decisions on what to do next) game. Unfortunately its all in japanese.

The game had a few endings, depending on the choices you made throughout the game, you'd either have Ed victorious, or Ed dead & reborn as Pride.

He looks pretty cool, except for the girly Envy outfit (but i guess they took his look from Ed/Envy's anime relation, since in the manga they're not brothers)
