Anyone watch Grindhouse yet? I injoyed Planet Terror, but Death Proof was just bleh.

Just came back, and both were SO AWESOME I had like orgasm x infinity.

Zombies!? Zombies?! YES. I need a gun leg! Like...NOW.

Death Proof was badass! That's why you don't mess with black women, and women with pipes. Seriously, those women kicked all kinds of ***. I mean, that was awesome. If you're one of those guys who's like "woman can't do all that. Mehhhh." Then....I dunno. The car scenes...just. GAH! So cool.

Death Proof didn't kick off as fast as I'd hoped it to. The car scenes were AWSOME. But the extended scenes of them gossiping had nothing to do with the story. And the Text Messeges? WTF?

Planet Terror will go in my list of "Fun Zombie films.". With Slither, and DAWN remake. All fun films. But not the best in the genre IMHO.

EDIT: IMDB list Machete as actually being a pre production film... Let's hope truth?

I think it was to make it look like they were going to die. The gossip scenes were funny, but that what Tarantino does, makes dialouge like that. The car scenes were hilarious.

I need to see this a few more times. As it will kill the "Grindhouse" feel if it's on DVD. And nostalgia is key for me. I loved the Grindhouse music and words foring together. Haven't seen that in ages, but it is on some old Fulci DVDs I own.

They are really two different Genres. So I can see why.

Checked it out today, Perfect film for Easter ^_^

Yeah I was a little disappointed with it too, although in a sadistic way I did find Kurt Russells hollering and screaming in pain amusing.
Planet Terror was the real treat for me, maybe they could of played it 2nd. All in all it thouroughly kicked @ss. Those inbetween previews were fricking hilarious, "Thanksgiving" :lol:
