I'm just wondering whether or not this thing is a hoax. One minute it's supposed to be in theaters. The next, Adult Swim is showing the movie on...well, Adult Swim.

I'm confused :(

well they did show it is Adult Swim. it was that little box in the lower left corner of your screen. unless you have a imax sized tv, projector or whatever you wouldn't be able to see what the hell was going on. but they did keep their promise in showing it on Adult Swim

they did show it the other night in the little box, but the 13th, they're gonna show it normally.

The little box was their April Fools joke on the comedy fans, by the way. The movie will still be in theaters later this month.

Are they serious about putting this in the theatres? I don't think it will make money, but I'll watch it.

I agree. It'll flop.

You all underestimate the viewership of the show, I predict massive success due to all the free publicity generated by the Boston Incident.

I hate to say this but a lot of publicity and hype doesn't always make money at the box office. This was the case with Snakes on a Plane.

The hummer of this show is strange and twisted which doesn't appeal to a mass audiance, so it will probably flop, but I still want to see it. I mean meatwad rocks!

Snakes on a Plane was a piss poor attempt at viral marketing. That's why it failed.

This movie probably took next-to-nothing to make, even with that Boston incident. It probably won't be very successful in theaters, but it won't have to be in order for them to make money off it.

I saw a movie poster for it at my local theaters. I think its real, and I'm going to see it. Thats the best movie poster ever.

It's gotta be the best episode of ATHF. The last episodes I saw were lacking. I like the movie poster too. I have to get one.

The time is getting closer. A few more hours. Oh yeah! Hopefully it's not like 300 all sold out 2 hours before the movie...but probably not. It better not suck!

I just got back from seeing it and let me tell you, without exaggeration, that was by far and wide the most over-the-top, ****ed up thing I've ever seen in my entire life.

Pros: Definitely had its moments, it had an actual plot (an interesting first for ATHF), included everybody's favorite characters, NEIL PEART!!

Cons: A lot of bland and overused jokes

Most of you are going to end up seeing it anyway and it's definitely worth it, but it just wasn't exactly up to my expectations

3.5/5

What exactly is it that you don't like about it? I think it's probably the single best piece of promotional artwork for a cartoon that I have ever seen.

That poster reminds me of some of the covers of the old Heavy Metal magazine. Good stuff!....

It's one damn fine movie. The ending was weak, but it was well worth the $8.

I got exactly what I expected:

A bland, mediocre film, with a strong start, a successively weaker middle, and a decent ending.

I laughed at a few parts, but there was just so much stupid filler crap...

That's what makes ATHF so good. It's 10 mins per ep, and if it sucked you could say "well, it wasn't that great, but it was only 10 minutes, and (for all intents and purposes) I didn't have to pay for it."

RPGQueen, save your tears for a GOOD movie, you might not be able to see.

The poster is admittedly awesome. At first it frightened me @_@ It kind of reminds me of the poster for Army of Darkness. They just don't make them like that anymore!

XD I can't wait to see that movie! It's true, it's coming out ...erm.. this weekend(I think), Adult Swim played it on a TINY screen in the corner of the TV one night XD
They advertise it like crazy!
