Sooooooo, I turn on the T.V. at 12:30a, expectin' to watch the new episode of Blood+, but you know what I find? "Perfect [Dumbass] Hair Forever." So, I'm thinkin', maybe they moved the anime back an hour. 1:00a: "Perfect [Mother______] Hair Forever"!!

So, I just gave up...not that big of a deal. So, I decided to do the Internets (AN) and whilst reading through all the Hateration in the Eureka 7 Thread (Monsha, Levon...they're just Jealous of Renton, 'cause they WISH they could be him), I found myself a-thinkin', "Damn you, Adult Swim!! No one wants to see your half-assed Anime Parody!! That's like the worst thing you could do. The Anime fans are already kinda touchy. Replacing the Saturday Night Lineup with Perfect Hair..."

Holy **** On A Stick On A **** Sandwich!! What's the Date?!! APRIL 1ST!! OOOOOHHHHHHH, in all y'all's faces Adult-Swim Watchin' Anime People!! :lol:

Hope I ruined somebody's April Fool's Day. And, I guess it's not even 12:00a yet to you losers on the West Coast. I kinda hope they'll like do the regular schedule thing at 3:00a. With the Moustaches and Whatnot last year, I think the second airing of shows were normal.

Well, after I figured out that it was an April Fool's Day prank, I thought it was kinda funny. I guess I might be a bit disappointed if they decide not to air the regular lineup at 3:00a. I probably should've waited a bit to post this thread, though; don't wanna ruin it for the Westies....hmm, West Highland White Terriers. Well, what's done is done. :D

I'm a Big O fan, but even I understand the ridicule. I mean, the first time I heard the name, I assumed it was a hentai, possibly a sequel to 9 O'clock Woman. Then I actually watched Big O, and it didn't take long before I thought the series could be renamed WTF Tomatoes? without hurting the story at all.

AS could have the utmost respect for Big O fans, and I'd still expect to hear the occasional chuckle or two.

Btw, you know when they do some "funny" stuff on the anime on adult swim? For example, this one time, they put beards on the anime! I think they do something diff. everytime they get to. When do they do that? Do they do that a certain time?

I think most of it was from the uproar they got over playing the episode: 'Stripes.' twice in a row. And I've heard them make fun of them for wanting a third season.

It is a rather silly show, though. So I will agree with you anyway. XD

To my knowledge, they've doodled on some of the character's faces, but that's about it. I don't know about the year before last (Yea, the year before last had the doodles), but last year the second airing was normal.

This year, it's different. They just got rid of the anime altogether...Perfect Hair all night. The prank was a bit more advanced. Adult Swim knows how touchy their Anime fans are. And, they didn't just replace the Anime lineup with any ol' show; they replaced it with an Anime Parody.... a parody that no one particularly likes.

Oh, and this thread is in the wrong place....I wasn't paying attention.

I'll just say, Anime fans deserve it. They're very vocal about demands to air their favorite shows and then NOBODY WATCHES THEM. The ratings on anime are horrible and yet when they try and yank unpopular shows the anime fans go berserk. If I were AS I'd probably despise anime fans.

I've given up on anime in the US though. I think manga is the future of Japanese entertainment in the US and I gladly pay for it.

Yeah, seriously. I don't watch [as] for anime, I watch it for all the shows that aren't on right now (venture bros, specifically), and the few that still are (family guy, futurama, and robot chicken).

THe only show I give a crap about on AS anymore is Bleach anyway, but still...I'm pissed. I'd rather have them put moustaches or make farting noises during the show. Maybe because it's so blatantly obvious too that AS just HAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEEEES anime fans but damn, couldn't they have at least replaced it with something actually funny?

I like last year's AS April Fool joke. Where random gastrointestinal audibles were made. And the year before that, the moustache touch was nice.

Also, I have to agree with AS and anime. The last anime I watched was Samurai Champloo, as it was the only one to hold my attention. Bleach is meh, and Trinity Blood, I'd rather watch on DVD.
