No its real. The first episode is about domestic abuse where Godai actual goes to jail for hitting Kyoko. Of course theres also the divorce & custody battle episodes. I can't wait for those.

They should change that to Maison Ikkoku.

That was her best series by far. Although I did enjoy Ranma 1/2 quite a bit, as well as Urusei Yatsura, Rumic Theater, and so on. It makes me sad to think that people don't know about Takahashi's previous works.

Check out the series Kagura. It's a good one.
