Looking for ways to shorten a website address

Um I've finished creating a forum for my WoW guild, I used Dot.Tk to shorten the dress, but every time someone else uses the address they can't get into the forum, is the another website i could use to shorten the web address?

What does the length of a URL have to do with whether or not people can access the site?
becuase the only way for guild members to know about the site is through a URL address posted in the guild info on WoW. and you can't directly link from WoW to the forum. a shorter Web address makes an easier access.
