Will it rocks my hips to a point where they give me completely and utter distortions of the actual facts?

The Turtles are puny, the villain is wimpy, and the Shredder is absent. I'll pass.

Geez, I rather like that screencap of the comic. See, the comic is good stuff. (Loves the Usagi Yojimbo crossover.)

Usagi Yojimbo is a good comic TMNT was a bad comic since it became commercialized. Everyone who I know who saw the movie says it blows hard.

I'd say otherwise. The movie was really good. Just not on the level of TMNT 1.

TMNT 1 > TMNT 2007 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> TMNT 2.

TMNT 3 does not exist in my mind.

For a sequal "TMNT" is a good movie. It isn't the best, but it wasn't terrible. The movie was a continuation of the movies (thus no shreader), and that may turned people off. Most people that hate it seem to be the ones that can't handle series of connected movies all that well.

By the way, they are considering a sequal.

Considering the movie only cost $34 million to make, they'll make much more than that in ticket sales.

The sequel is already oozing Shredder.

What's your beef with TMNT 2? Was Vanilla Ice too hard-core for you, pansy?:P

No, see....Uh...damn, can't think of anything. I likes some TMNT comics, Usagi is a WONDERFUL comic anyway. (It doesn't need turtles to make it good.) Althouhg I still enjoy that "crossover."

Its been a while since I've actually read TMNT. I can only imagine how much Pizza Hut is going to ***** them out.

The movie was pretty good. Action was well done, humor was good, interaction between the turtles was done well, villains weren't very developed, but they weren't the focus or else Shredder would've returned in this movie.

When I first saw the trailers and the pictures, I thought it wasn't going to be that interesting, but upon actually watching it, my opinion of it has changed to a more positive one.

Yeah, it was Donatello who said that to Michaelangelo. If that was said to Raph, he would've knocked him on the head instead... or he would've just ignored it.

Not really. I just felt that the movie was pretty corny. The origin story was pretty halfa$$ed in a way. It needed a much better story than that. Considering I've seen all these movies on their first day, I'd say TMNT 2 is definitely the weakest(TMNT 3 being non-existant). It was very campy. It's like all the turtles were acting like Michaelangelo, just with different color bandanas.

All that and the lack of Casey Jones.

I don't get the beef with the movie. In my opinion the comedy was quite XD and spot on. I thought the turtles made a seamless adaption to the new millennium, unlike Starsky and Hutch. The villians sure weren't Shredder, but I think at this point Shredder needs a little break, I hope his return in TMNT 2 is well done. All in all I thought it was a great movie, and enjoyable throughout =|.

Shredder has had too long of a break already. It's obvious he didn't die in the second movie (which was well over a decade ago). He was absent in the third. And now, he's still MIA in the fourth. He wasn't even really Shredder in the 2003 cartoon, but an alien posing as him.

I felt this movie is more of a continuation after the second movie. Like Sendo said, the third one doesn't exist.

Although: you can see the time sceptre in the case with all the helmets at the end of the movie

It feels like a continuation after the second one, also with the 2003 cartoon elements present (i.e., casey jones, april being an archeologist, the inclusion of Karai). It all came together nicely I felt. It was so good, I saw it twice.

As for the turtles being "scrawny", I felt it added to the believability of them being ninja. It's hard to be a stealthy ninja when you're big and bulky like in that comic shot Reidar linked. Granted, we're talking about ninja turtles here, you have to have already suspended a great deal of disbelief  I did like the design of the Nightwatcher though, and it was fun with the abundance of POV shots.

Well worth the money, anyone who didn't like it can blow it out their ***.

I disagree. Obvious potential sarcasm aside, realism is no issue to me here. Make them huge. Ryu Hayabusa does it.

Haha, that part was probably one of the funnier moments during the movie. Mainly when Michaelangelo says, "Can I get rid of this too?" Then we get shown his 'Cowabunga Carl' mask.XD Very unexpected.

I never saw the second cartoon from 2003, so I was wondering who Karai was during the entire movie. April does work better as an archaeologist though when it comes to getting into fantasy adventures. A reporter can only do so much on that field... well... actually, they're about even then.

Raph definitely did not look "scrawny" when he was in his Nightwatcher gear. I was just like, "Oh, SUUUUWEEET!" when he made his first appearance in that outfit.

It's hard to be a ninja when you're a giant, talking anthropomorphic turtle, too. :P

Shredder was never intended to be the turtles main villain.

Reidar

Yes, that's what I've been criticizing throughout the entire span of this thread. He obviously was not intended to be the main villain because he isn't the main villain.
