Uh. . . Hello. This is my very first time posting on a message board. I made sure to read all the rules and I hope I can remember them all (there was quite a lot). I don't know much about forum etiquette, I do know that you have to look for previously existing threads before posting a new one (my sister goes on forums a lot) but I couldn't find one that was talking about this in particular subject. I hope I haven't done anything wrong and that I make a good first impression.
Well anyway, I started this thread to talk about Mogudan Nakayohi's latest doujinshi involving Rei Ayanami. The latest one I have found is a doujinshi called "Rei Ayanami: Dai Kai 1," I managed to find it in english. Anyway along with other works by Mogudan like "Ayanami Student vol. 5," a lot of people are saying how much they prefered Rei Ayanami's first look like in "Ayanami Student vol. 1" and "Ayanami Student vol. 2" where she wasn't so. . . porportioned. Personally, the look I like Rei to wear most is. . . the one in the anime, LOL (I think she looks really beautiful in the anime). In terms of the look she wears in Mogudan's doujinshies, I prefer the earlier works (the way she looks in "Ayanami Student vol. 2" is my favorite), but personally I don't mind that she has gotten to be so huge in the latest works, because she looks beautiful NO MATTER WHAT. Though I do think that Mogudan is becoming a little too boob and butt size happy :).
The thing that I don't really like about Mogudan's latest work, is the way that he is making Rei act in the situations she is in; Rei's personality. Remember at first, if you have the translations to the first "Ayanami Student" doujinshies, Rei didn't want to be there, with the guys doing her, and she would wish that it would all stop. She would say stuff like how it was disgusting and unbearable, and she would ask how much longer it would continue, sugesting that she wanted an escape. It's not like I have a thing about women, or especially Rei, being dominated or anything (seriously, THAT IS NOT THE CASE HERE!!!), it's just that I thought that the way she acted in the earlier works helped mantain a sort of innocence. But lately in the newest works by Mogudan, not only does it seem that she has come to accept her situation, but she sort of enjoys it, and in the latest "Rei Ayanami: Dai Kai 1" she actually instigated it. That, for me, got rid of the innocence she had left. I know that H-doujins are parodies and not necissarily offical art or anything, but that's not the way Rei would act, i mean come on!
So what do you guys out there think, is her personallity or her body more of an issue, and what do you think of my reaction toward this whole thing? I'm kind of hesitant to hear what you guys say, if anything (I mean it's like 1:00 am where I am so maybe no one will respond right away).
