So, anyone getting this album? I may pick it up, since I found The People's Champ to be a nice listen. I checked out his single, Break Em Off, and it had a nice beat to it, with the trademark Paul Wall flow.
Also checked out the Screwed and Chopped version and found it...interesting. Basically, screwed and chopped, getting off subject for a sec, is a hit or miss thing, depending on music and song.
Anywho, who's getting it?

Not to spam or deterr you from getting it, but I really doubt I'd even give the album a download. Now don't go thinking that I'm one of those people that have a vendetta against "commercial" or "mainstream" hip-hop, because that's probably one of the biggest insults you could throw at me. My love for hip-hop is great. Paul Wall has proven to be an ***, not only as a human being, but also to the rap industry.

No biggie.
On the whole, I don't too much care for commercialized hip-hop myself. However there are some songs that catch my attention from time to time that I can listen to with disregard for the artist. Those are what I like to call joke artists...those I listen to just for kicks and giggles.

I honestly wouldn't have had any problems with him if he hadn't gone and pulled something stupid like THIS (http://youtube.com/watch?v=fNETxVu2wGU)
It may be no big deal to you, but I'm not gonna judge. He killed himself with that is all he accomplished.

I haven't looked at the link yet, but I never knew anything about Paul Wall beyond his last album. Then again, I could care less about the life of a celebrity as it has no bearing on me. But still, I'll check the link out.

You should.
But if you want some chill stuff to listen to, my friend recently upped a Prince Ali album, that had the nicest instrumentals of a lot of albums I have ever heard.

Arg, now I wish I hadn't clicked that link.
I thought some of his stuff was funny though, but now this kind of leaves a distaste in my mouth.

Well, one could say that Paul Wall just came forward and said some stuff that any other musician is probably thinking, but after hearing this, all I can say is damn!
Well, he just lost my respect. I don't have any respect for anyone who doesn't respect their craft. Too much talk about money and slabs. Another one for the grinder.

I'm not a big Paul Wall fan honestly, The only song I can reemember liking his verse in was "Drive Slow" with Kayne West. Other than that, I'm not one for commercial rappers.

Wow, This is why I don't like most commercial Rappers. I belive most of them think like that, It's just they don't say it. That's why I respect the Lupe Fiasco's, The Nas, Hell, Even Jay-Z.
