Sorry for the uberly large picture, but it's how the webpage had it.
at the bottom left it says 「そして、誰も知らないファイナルファンタジーが登場する。」
which in "Direct" translation means "And a Final Fantasy that no one knows will appear"
But that's only direct meaning....to be honest, it can also mean several different things though.
SE is really milking out the Final Fantasy name this year...
My guess, the unknown FF does = a new FF, it's a new expansion to FF11 or that still unclear FFTA2

From the games with the VII in it..it looks like Square is milking that.

If it is a new FF game
possible guesses:
Final Fantasy XI Expansion = expansion still possible because SE still making money off it and people are playing it
FFTA2 = since they didn't really say much about it but the project name FFTA2
Something with FFVII = since it's FFVII 10th Annivessary
and also found this
hey registered a FFXIII: hearthesis as a TM back in 2006 may.
It might be a MMORPG revolving around the FFXIII universe.
This may be your "surprise" seeing as you know well....this isnt officially comfirmed.]

it's just speculation, there's a registered trademark for that FFXIII that was never used (suppsedly). I don't know how to search for that, but I found it on some posting

Don't you just mean won't buy? There is nothing special about an MMO that prevents someone from buying one. It's a game that you have to buy just like any other.

lol
ok, I have a question.
Either I'm out of the loop for the newer FF titles, or this maybe skipped my eyes.
but...
What's Ring of Fates?

It may be TA2, but I suppose there are strong counterpoints on that either way. It's not listed on the page, but then we're all well aware of it, including it's title, unless everything up to this point has been unofficial leaks. Meaning, we shouldn't know about it yet?
Ring of Fates is the followup to Crystal Chronicles. It's hard to see in the picture.
It has been just about a year since the release of Treasures of Aht Urgan, but I'm really hoping it's not an FFXI expansion, even if I don't play anymore. They technically still haven't finished up the TOAU story yet, and the new job classes are a bit behind still (no tier2 merits, no relics). I suppose it wouldn't surprise me, but I hope it's not.
They've already admitted to wanting to milk the hell out of XIII and have it last like two decades to FFVII's one. Just the thought of that has me terrified. I really have no faith in a series they've internally decided will be the next FFVII and then some. And I didn't even care for FFVII.
Dear Matsuno: Vagrant Story followup plz.

You just mixed two different things!
Tier2 merits, as in, stuff like new spells you buy with meripo. ie Sange, DiaIII, etc.
And Relic, as in dynamis! Do they seriously have reskinned TOAU job AF in Salvages? Or are you moreso referring to point bought Assault gear?
Otherwise, I would expect them to make real Relic gear.
Oh, also, (I suppose in theory) the sub-title for TA2 is Fuuketsu no Grimoire. Generally a fitting title, the whole "sealed hole" thing is kind of odd, but the TA Ivalice does only exist because of a Grimoire in the first place!

well, I was joking, hence the =-P. But yeah, the Salvage armors are much better than what AF2 is ever going to be (at least the melee related ones). Those Salvage armor set are really sexy in stats o.o

I'm still confused as to what you're specifically referring to. :P
I mean, I thought salvage was specifically a chance from mystery items you got during Assaults. Are there super amazing rewards from that?
Or do you simply mean the Assault point bought gear sets?
Bear with me, I haven't played in awhile. I just remember stuff like Pahluwan, which, if I had kept playing, would have been one of my first goals for the expansion.

Salvage = pretty much Dynamis of Aht Urhgan using Assault system. To obtain these armors, you have to trade 3 items to a NPC in White Gate and the 3 items are obviously found in Salvage. The drop rate...about the same as Dynamis - Xarcarbard runs.

So if Ring of Fates is the next CC game, then what is the Crystal Bearers thing? O.o
cris

I think the DS one is a direct seuqel while Wii one isn't...could be wrong though since I don't care much about CC series

Both of the CC games are listed as "sequels," one may be a direct and the other one not, or they might both be. Maybe neither is! I don't know.

I was goign to make mention of this. I think there are going to be several more games for XIII announced. My bet is on some type of spin-off for the DS.
