Do Sado or Orihime ever get any stronger? I've just finished the Bounto arc (or Soul Society arc, since the Bounto arc doesn't really count) and they still don't seem any stronger than they were at the start of the series. So do they actually get any stronger, or do they just remained weak for the entire series, up to its current stage?

I'm not up to speed with the manga but as I see it they havn't gotten any stronger in the anime at the start of the arancaar arc, but since Bleach is still being "created" you'll have to wait and see if they get stronger.

I am pretty sure they dont get much stronger, but I am only judging from the anime, i think sado gets stronger but I am not too sure

All I know is that both Sado and Ishida eventually get a reboot in their powers.

The keyword here is eventually

I'm betting though that either Sado or Orihime get killed though. Just a feeling I have..

Maybe when the series is near the end, but at this point, Kubo has barely killed ANYONE, let alone major characters.

What do you suppose the odds are that if anyone does get killed there is suddenly a way to bring them back? Look at the evidence... this show is heavily Dragon Ball influenced, and being a Shinigami has got to have some advantages...

Also, why do I get the feeling that if I'm right, bringing someone back from the dead somehow makes them stronger. I'm not accusing Bleach of being too derivative or anything like that. It's got it's own identity and all, but still, certain tropes are reccurrent throughout the genre. Death is pretty uncommon, but permanent death is very rare.

Sado does. Orihime just stays about the same.

Well In the Manga at the end of Chapter 259-261 Chad gets a MAJOR upgrade in power. So far Orihime is just the same.

If you were wondering how long you'd have to wait in terms of the anime the anime just finished chapter 205 of the manga so i'd say about 20 more eps till then.

^Could you put that in a spoiler tag?

I just thought I'd add on to my last post. While it's true that Orihime stays the same, the power that she does have gets a lot more important. Actually, if I'm understanding it correctly, she might even be the most powerful person on the whole show. Not crazy raw physical/spiritual strength or anything, but she has so much potential that it's crazy.

quoted for truth. I just caught up on the Manga but it kinda pissed me off because of the situation she put herself in.
