That won't be for a while; In the manga, Ishida gets his powers back after Ichigo's Hollow subduction training, and from what I've heard, the anime is barely into the Grimmjow invasion.

OMG they used dirty words in this episode. They said "bounto" That word should never be uttered in another Bleach episode Pretty good episode. Shinigami Rukia killed an arrancar who was "a failure of epic proportions" (official arrancar of 4chan?). Rukias Zanpakatu is an ice type named Sode no Shirayuki (Sleeve of White Snow). Her technique was to create a circle of ice that freezes everything in it on the ground and in the air. It was called Some no Mai, Tsuki Shiro: First Dance, White Moon. We also got to see "Chappy" The Gikon pill that Rukia had wanted early in the show. Wow, would that have been different with Chappy instead of Kon (chappy needs her own puppet lol)

Nice episode. I would have liked to see Rukia's fight last a little longer, but we'll be seeing (or we should if she doesn't get KOed first thing) her fighting more with Grimmjow, so its all good.

I'm fond of water/ice powers, so I liked Rukia's shikai. I hope to see her Bankai someday.

Another thing, I want to make sure that I am not the only one getting really frustrated over Chad's inferiority complex. It seems that every time Chad gets an upgrade, he also comes to the realization that he still pales in comparison to Ichigo (power wise). Is this ticking anyone else off? Ino and Chad both seem to be caught in Ichigo's shadow and neither of them seem to be motivated enough to get off of their energy latent arses and get stronger.

Sadly that seems to be Chad's role in the series, but without giving away too much he is due for an upgrade soon enough :naughty:

Yea but to be fair it was the strongest arrancar he came up against so you couldn't really expect him to beat him. But i hope now he's got his upgrades he starts getting some action. Also he was the first one to beat his arrancar so its not all bad for him lol :P

Im so happy that Rukia has become more like her former self and not just because she has her death god powers back now but because during the bonto
arc she became a kind of joke character, someone who's only purpose was to be saved by Ichigo. You go girl!

Theres a Spanish/Mexican theme to the manga and anime, due to Tite Kubo's fascination with Mexican and Spanish mythology concerning death.

Well the only thing i'm looking forward on the serie are the fights, the story itself is not as intriguing or as interesting as it used to. The character design for the new enemies are kind of boring too. I hope it gets better 'cause it was one of my favorites at the beginning. The soul society arc was great with the fights, the Rukia's memories, Aizen's dead, Ichigo Hollow, etc.
