Not much happened, but it was a decent episode. I look forward to the upcoming fights. I hope we get to see Hitsaguya do some *** kicking.

I wouldn't say its totally skipable either as you get some minor plot development with the arrancar preparing to attack and some character development for Orihime.

It was dirrect animation of Bleach Manga Chapters 198 & 199, any one who does not like the pacing need only blame the Manga for that. Though you action junkies should be rather happy with the next 2 or 3 episodes.

The episode was good, but not as great. I'm eagerly awaiting Rukia's zanpakuto though.

I liked the last 5 minutes when the "Who-gives-a-crap" arrancar came to the "real" world and were seeking everybody worth noticing. I just want to see more about the Vizards dang it =|

so, hold on a sec guys. I haven't read the manga, so perhaps you can fill me in on this tidbit. Is Yami an Adjuchas turned Arrancar? Although not specifically mentioned, his size and battle capabilites (at least what we saw) seems to suggest so. He just doesn't seem like Vasto Lorde material to me.

It hasn't been mentioned in the anime yet and I haven't read the manga beyond what Viz has released, but I'm guessing he is from the midlevel (I guess that would be Adjuchas). I'm guessing he wasn't a Vastolorde. I'd imagine the Vasto Lordes are waiting to see how the the lower level Arrancar turn out before they decide to go through the process.
