FFXI and your favorite Job?

I'm currently leveling my #4 job to 75
Which Job is your favorite?
For me its Summoner.

There is an FFXI discussion thread in this forum, because there really aren't many FFXI players here.

My two 75 jobs are RDM and BST. And I refuse to pick one or the other as my "favorite".

That's a shame.
I've met and talked to people from all over the world.
FFXI is not a blood and guts shoot-em up game.
It's one that a person has to play and learn and grow into.
You pick a job and then learn. You also need help from others to grow.
It's one that requires teamwork to get things done.

I agree that this thread should belong in FFXI Discussion.. but I'll answer, anyway.

I honestly love playing every job in FFXI, and what my "favorite" depends on my mood: when I feel like wasting my gil on ammunition to do lots of damage, I go Ranger. When I want to farm tough mobs and NMs, Beastmaster or Thief. When I want to accumulate tons of merit points, Bard. When I want to talk **** and watch the DD's and tank in action, White Mage, Red Mage or Black Mage.

But my overall favorite, would probably be Beastmaster or Ranger. Speaking only for myself, there is nothing that compares to the adrenaline rush that I get from Beatmaster. Ranger is fun because you get to waste your hard earned gil to do massive damage to enemies, and I have always been fascinated with archery. Thief is not far behind either, but it's not 75, yet.

So my favorite is DD. I have never been fond of tanking jobs.

It wasn't about which job was the best. Dragoon is/was/and will always be my favorite job in that game.

Shame the game is no fun by yerself.

Hmm, I liked Beastmaster, but Summoner was fun to play once you got to the higher levels.

White Mage was suck though.
