Ayu-chan has come a long way in the last 12 years from nobody to Jpop queen.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Ayumi Hamasaki--now or otherwise. Her voice is a little annoying in my opinion. Hikaru Utada on the other hand...^_^.

I do remember watching a few episodes of Hey Hey Hey with Ayumi though. Still annoying....but the episodes were funny so I didn't mind as much.

She had a cute video where she turned her entire perception of the world gothy, and she dressed all gothy and it was really cute. It was funny to see her veer from her normal dressings.

i like Ayumi, but i dropped out of buying cds after Rainbow. the music just didn't click anymore. Loveppears and Duty are my favorites.

Yes most certainly Utada is the better singer. Hell I think there are many better singers. And I swear, Ayu's production isn't top notch either. What is it I wonder?
Ah Koda yes.. her videos are good on mute. Actually she has a few good songs.
