To give an untraditional perspective of definition, I practice the prospects of dancing in itself, as the patterned motion of footwork. I never do dance as a social activity, though.

Muhammad Ali, with his shuffle and rhythm, is the best dancer ever, as far as I'm concerned (and he was completely clumsy when dancing outside the ring).

I assume you refer to real dancing, not just flapping your arms around like a bird and doing rotations like a penguin.

My dad has tred several times to teach me the basic of latin dances, but I never really learn. I really don't like dancing myself, but I like to watch serious technical dancing. I personally enjoy Figure Ice Skating dancing. Even the cheesy compulsory dances are pretty fun to watch (though nauseating as a fan to watch 20 teams do the exact same dance and music one after another).

I've been told I could make a good dancer, but I never had any interest for it. I far prefer martial arts, if that could be counted as dancing at all.

The only dancing I have ever done was under the influence of heavy alcohol consumption and it involved a strobe light. That was when I called it quits for teen parties.

I dont care for dancing, its one thing that ive always been, i guess insucure about/lack confidance in. It might have sumthing to do with the fact that iam a hip hop head, an dancing aint really associated with that, excpet the more r&b clyb type rap, but i hate pop music and dance music.
I only dance when ive a few drinks in me, both for confidance, and to be able to accept the sh*t music they play everywhere..

I took a class a while back--and learned the basic ballroom dance crap. Don't remember much of it, but I still can waltz so that must count for something. Not that any of the men around here KNOW how to waltz (what they do cannot be considered dancing O_O), so it doesn't even help me at all. Just something I can brag about I suppose. I'm light on my feet ^_^.

I can't dance. I can't dance formally, I can't club dance, I can't line dance. It's not that I don't have a sense of rhythm, but two arms and two legs seems to be more than I can control at once. I can manage any two from four, but that's my limit.

Whenever I try to dance, I get a few steps into it, then mess something up, and spend the rest of the time overcompensating, before eventually getting tangled up, nearly tripping over my own feet, and eventually having to be rescued from serious disaster.

So I've perfected the "not dancing" dance, for when I'm at a club. It's the kind where you don't really move anything but your feet in a nice easy repetitive pattern.
