I had a feeling someone famous was going to die today, but I didn't expect it to be her. I used to know her son, and he worshipped the ground she walked on. Such a tragic end to a successful, hard life

I can't say I'll mourn her. She married an old geezer for money. Maybe Britney Spears and Paris Hilton will follow her. Not that I'd want it.

The only people I definitely want dead are mass murderers and corrupt, greedy politicians.

It's a shame she was unable to get what she wanted: Her late departed husband's family fortune.

While I will not say she deserved it, I will say that I lost any and all sympathy for her, for the way she handled the death of her son, the way she handled the paternity of her daughter, the way she handled the "ownership of the Bermudean (I think) house" thing.

While I would not have wished an early death on her, I don't feel an ounce of pity, either.

Hardly. Marylin was much hotter and far less flakey. Smith had a very rich old man. Monroe had very rich, young Kennedys.

I always thought she was kind of annoying. When she came on, I suddenly felt like not watching tv.

As bad as it sounds today, when her first reality show came on, I literally shouted "Man the Harpoons!"

I think that's a bit unfair. Seriously, we don't know the woman, the media isn't the best place to know a person no matter how we think we do. I think that the ditz thing is all a persona really, for all we know she prolly was a great mom.

I'm not surprised one bit. I didn't expect it, so to that end I'm "surprised", but not really shocked. She lost a lot of weight really fast, and then her son dies, and then she's on antidepressants. Even if it's not the drugs that killed her, I'm positive they played a part.

So?

The sister of the princesss Letizia of Spain died a few days ago (she committed suicide by sleeping pill with alcohol overdose, HUGE scandal). The wife of the governor of the State of Mexico died very suspiciously just 2 weeks ago (she probably committed suicide too) and nobody in the US talks about them.

You'd think unexpected deaths of the siblings of European royalty and a strange death of the wife of a future mexican president hopeful would cause a tad bit of interest. Instead, some dumb blonde from Texas who nobody in my country cares about anyways dies. Yeah they did mention her death here in the news, but they aren't having special coverings of her (in my opinion rather boring) life on the CBS Early Show.
I wouldn't be surprised she killed herself personally. If the autopsy reports alchy and sleeping pill OD, it could prove that money can't necesairly buy happiness.

I can't say I hated her personally, but I didn't really respect her either. She qualifies for the word naca. Maralyn had more grace than she did. She was pretty young when she died though.

Europe has 10,000,000 royals, while Mexico, though a loveable sister nation(and superior to Canada), has rather uninteresting news. Maybe if it was the real presidents wife... and she had a really unlucky story.

You'va gotta be kidding. The amount of oddball political news that has happened here in the last year has surely given plenty of entertainment to my mother. My mom should pay Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador for giving her laughs for gold appearances such as this:

The latest crazy news is that this guy called Norońa is being threatened to be kicked out of his political party and he ate dust as a sort of strike. Yes, dust, the grey fluffy stuff that accumulates everywhere. He started licking the floor. That guy is whack, whack I say.

Peje dressed inhumanely ridiculous during his presidential campaign. I can understand a few flowers while visiting the indian villages, but a fruit salad?!!

He still pops up now and then calling himself the "Legitimate president". He even put on his homemade presidential band with the colors inverted so that thecops can't officially arrest him (as if they would even bother).

Oh and the gacelas, his personal female unprofessional "bodyguards" that were having some lovin' back in Israel where they were supposed to be trained by the militia with taxpayer money.

Honorable mention to Alejandro Encinas aka "Santa Claus" for being such a lame mayor. Remember, the sewage flooding the poor neighborhoods is the Aztec god Tlaloc's fault.

Her death didn't catch me by surprise. She was so broken hearted after her son died just 5 months ago and he was everything to her. I pay my respects to her as she did a lot with her life. Sadly, her baby girl is now left without her mother. I hope she can grow up and live a happy fulfilling life with who ever cares for her. It's amazing how someone who grew up so close to me became so popular; then again Hilary Duff did begin her career to stardom here in SA.
