I've been getting caught up in TV lately, but thankfully we have Prons to crack the whip around here.

Possibly one of the most interesting characters created will be getting his beginning told. No Hopkins is definitely a negative, but we'll see how the reviews hold up as they should be hitting RT everyday this week.

Meh, Thomas Harris' milk cow has dried up teats.

Saw the trailer a while back, it looks interesting enough but for some reason I don't really have the urge to find out about his past.
Hopkins made the role so intriguing that I didn't really care, honestly they should've left it alone after Hannibal(or continue on at least). Can't stand prequels.
Oh well, we'll see how this turns out. Hopefully its better than Red Dragon <_<

I'll catch it probably, but just because it seems like an interesting thriller. There are other movies at the moment I'd rather see first.

There's one thing I'm not sure I understand. I've been reading up on psychopathy recently after reading "The Silence of the Lambs" and according to this expert, psychopaths do not feel anything since the visual-emotional link isn't wired. That is, brain scans would show they do not display any reaction to either a photograph of a sunset or that of a horribly mutilated victim. Because of this emotional disconnection, they do not care about what happens to them or others.

Now, considering that, why is that Hannibal who is classified as a psychopath, cares enough about his sister to want to get revenge? I thought psychopaths do not care one way or another what happens? I admitedly have little understanding so far of the actual psychopathic syndrome, so could someone more enlightened point me to a link or book that would explain this?

Other than that, I like the premise of the film but not enough to see it. I'll rent.

GASPARD!!!

One of the few movies I'm tempted to see because of eye candy. And I dislike horror movies greatly.

Then what's a psychopath's motivation for killing people (much less eating them)?
