for those of you who dont know megacon is on february 16th thru 18th is gonna be awesome i cant wait to go its going to be soo fun (comment):P

It has been a long long time, but I will once again be working a convention for AnimeNation! I will be at the booth Saturday, all day, and Sunday from opening until 2pm. I will also be staying and participating in some hijinks if anyone knows of any, let me know. Stop by the AN booth and say hi.

I won't be able to attend this year at all. Why? Due to work. I have to present a program on Saturday the 17th. And it's not worth going just on the Sunday.

I dunno if I'm going or not. I'm a very rare kind of anime fan, as I also enjoy NASCAR, and this happens to fall on Daytona 500 weekend. If I do go it'll only be on Saturday.

Speaking of MegaCon... We have some tidbits to pass along:

I just learned that our FUNimation Convention team posted our schedule of events for our next three conventions. Two are this weekend (Katsucon and MegaCon) and one is next weekend (New York Comic Con). We have tons of stuff happening at these conventions: autograph sessions, panels, special screenings and special events. If you are going to MegaCon, make sure to check out our "Evening with FUNimation" panel on Friday, February 16. This will be a premiere event for Beck and they will show episodes 1 - 3. The directors will be there to field questions. It sounds like a lot of fun. Plus I know you guys have been dying for some Beck info.

I went to Megacon and I had a blast!

I argued with one of the boothies about why Voltron would have been created even without Go Lion.
