First of all I should have gotten my learner's permit in VA before I've moved out to this gay state, and then I'm super late gettin my permit which I should have gotten when I was 15. I'll be a senior next year and tired of depending on rides and **** plus I'm tryna gets some wheels or be on some wheels early as possible. Also these Iowa driving rules aren't benefiting me at the age and grade level I'm at right now.

In a couple of days from now I will be gettin my learner's permit and then after I will have to wait 6 months just to get my INTERMEDIATE (Note: Intermediate License is not the full License in the state of Iowa) LICENSE where I can drive by myself without an adult from 5 a.m. to 12:30 a.m according to the state of Iowa driving regulations.

But I was wondering should I just wait til the summer comes after school lets out and get my Intermediate license in Louisiana where mom lives instead of waiting for them 6 months to come by in Iowa??? Because in Louisiana you just have to hold onto your Learner's permit for 90 days which is 3 months, and then you can get your INTERMEDIATE LICENSE. So if I get my Learner's permit In Iowa this month I will be eligible to get my license in May in Louisiana, 1 month before school ends here in Iowa, but if I wait for them six months I can't get my **** til August in Iowa when I turn 17.

So what is the best choice to go with?? I just thought I'll ask ya'll just in case

Which state are you going to live the majority of your time within (roughly) the next 3 years? Wouldn't it be best to get the license from that state? Even if you have to wait, you still have a permit, so you can actually drive with a person over 18.

I dont think I ever had to deal with Intermediate and all that. After I got my permit and had my 25 hours, I got my real license after 90 days.
