The sequence goes 8 4 2 1. Add together those numbers where there is a 1. When dealing with the total, there is 1 - 9, but 10 and up equals a letter. (in alphabetical order).

No, it was another site. I thought I had it bookmarked, but I can't find it now. Oh well. I got tired of it once I got to the challenge in which I had to take an imaging program and scan through the image with different filters and color spectrums.

That's probably because you're using the wrong source. What source is the source code of 9.1 referring to (it isn't hidden at all, it right there)? Try looking at that, then try finding the second color to use.

I can come up with ideas for what the poem refers to, but they aren't colors and they don't help. One idea was to look at what you got when you plugged in the letters from the columns of certain letters from that alphabet at the top. That didn't work.

the only clue I have is that green is the third color, since the type is green and the letters of "green" make the key. To support this, there are five lines and "green" has five letters. Not sure if that is right, since I got "heoons" as answer. I'll try some more variations.

Yep, so "green" would become "34110". We would then have to assume "green" to be the correct color or even the method to be the right one.

EDIT: Checked it, it gives these letters (in sentence order):

When you go to this url: animenation.net, it brings you to their homepage right? When you put in this: animenation.net/forums, it jumps you straight to the forums right? The folder name in this case is forums. Now the picture is of a folder, and it is named life.

Nope. All you need to know here is the different browser extentions like shtml, htm, and html. And you also need to know what the main pages are named by default when uploaded to a server.
