TV-Nihon released the movie, took a long time but it will be nice to see it. Even though from what I read I was rather disapointed in the changes.

But I look forward to the new animation, especially of Haman:wub: I might even make some avatars later.

PS: TV-Nihon also released Zoids Genesis episodes 37-42 which I'm happy about, only 8 episodes left.

I can wait for the eventual DVD release, I couldn't make it past the second movie's translation, nor could I find the time to watch it when I decided to try again. Anyway, such animation quality must be enjoyed on a TV. ;)

^I would as well, but amazon sent me the wrong one for Christmas.
I'm going Divx AND Region free (basically, the Toshiba you got, Lev)
But yeah, still waiting for the DVD release. I know the changes and the whole ending deal regardless, and saw screencaps from Gundam Ace.

The company I ordered from sent me an older version that diddn't support Divx, so the company sent me the right one and let me keep the old one(which I gave away).

I just got done watching the movie, wow. I loved it, its was one non-stop intense war. The way it was edited was pretty good. The action scenes are stunning!

Sayla has a line, they used old recordings for that line^_^

That Dyybuk song durring the ending credits was very weird, like a mix of heavy metal & a little mix of rap. Doesn't really fit this anime, it would fit in something like Bleach instead.

Like Magami-chan, I'ma wait for the DVD. I'll DL the fansub anyways, probably, for completion's sake or something bizarre/OCD like that.

Has it been licensed for America? Sorry I've been out of the anime loop.

Oh and nothing beats seeing all 3 movies on the big screen!

As much as I dislike TV-Nihon (visited their forums once to see how the progress on Zeta III went, and I'm not planning to go there again), it's good that they are finally done with it. I think I'm going to have a Zeta movie marathon once my DL is finished.

I don't like TVN, but watching the translated trilogy was something I couldn't pass up. I finally caved in and downloaded all of them because I've been dying to see them ever since Heirs to the Stars was released back in '05. I was going to wait until they were released here, whenever that is, but I'm far too impatient. I'll definitely buy them the second they get a US release though. Any news on that?

Anyway, I watched Heirs to the Stars the other day and it was awesome. I can't wait to watch the other two.

Heres my opinion on the Zeta movies from when I saw them at the Chicago International Film Festival.

So was anyone there? I was and I got to say seeing Zeta on the bring screen was awesome and the crowed seemed to enjoy it. As for the movies, well I'm a little disappointed. Zeta Movie 1 was fine and seeing it brought a smile to my face but as a Zeta fan, movies 2 and 3 where kind of letdowns. Four's death in 2 was kind of a disappointment and the movie seemed to go really fast. Though in the end, I still enjoyed it. Movie 3 though I disliked. it went way to fast and was hard to keep up with. Yazan had no screen time at all and Jerid was hardly the sympathetic rival he is in the show. The removal of Rosamia's return, Day of Dakar, and Four's death at Kilimanjaro also put a damper on my thoughts of the movie. Rosamia I can understand but, the other 2 I feel are really important. I understand it was for time but still.

Still it was cool to see Zeta.

In fact I've thought more about this and these Zeta movies are hardly a good replacement for the awesome Zeta TV series. Unlike the MS Gundam movie trilogy I don't think this is a good way to see Zeta.

50 episodes do not translate into 3 movies.

The ending was just utter crap. Camiles mind damage was a powerful message that war is just hell and no one escapes it. What the hell is it with Haman? What would make her at all retreat? Sure it was nice to see Sayla and Aumro at the end but need I say that this war is far from over. Seriously these movies just aren’t good. I love Jerid and these movies make him less of a person.

The TV series just has way too much in it. The show was more focused then First Gundam and didn’t have "monster of the week" syndrome. You just can't cram all the awesome of Zeta into 3 movies. There’s just so much rich character development in the TV series. In the movies I hardly felt Scirocco was a villain as I don't think the movies gave him any true motives are at least didn’t make them clear. The only real character the movies handled well is Sarah. Then again I think Sarah is an awesome character anyway.

I'm just really disappointed.

Just finished watching it today.
Sure, it had it's dissapointing moments because of the changes made but all in all I really enjoyed the ending much more than the original.

Yeah...Noob Spoilers Here Don't Come Any Closer.

Wished they would've kept the mental destruction of Camille by Scirocco and the appearence of Rosamia, but beggars can't be chosers right! Other than that THUMBS UP TO CG ANIMATION

The ending with all those new scenes was nice.
