TNA is IMO the best branch, WWE sucks balls %95 of the time.
But it has my childhood favourites, and they're still really good, it's just that they're put in BS matches with non talent newbies or BS storylines with no talent old men in there 60's.
Undertaker is my WWE fav and overall fav.
TNA i'd probably say AJ or Chris Daniels.
Fav match was Taker VS Angle at NWO this year.
And fav show, ECW's ONE NIGHT STAND, also this year.

I need to start watching TNA. WWE started sucking hard back in 2002. And ECW is basically dead.

DS, WWE started sucking hard in 2001 when the Attitude era finished. Or was it 2000 when it finished?
Yep, but I don't understand why ECW sucks so bad, when ONS 1 and ONS 2 were soooooo good.

I love wrestling. I like it all.
TNA
WWE
ECW
some amatuer(?) wrestling brands
and some lesser known past and present branches(HWA, WEW, BBOW, and many more)
My favorite from WWE is deffinately Jeff Hardy.
ECW is the new Bobby Lashley, otherwise CM Punk is cool too.
TNA I like AJ Styles and Kurt Angle. Samoa Joes cool and Jeff Jarret's alright as well.

I don't really watch any current product, I prefer to watch classic matches mainly.
Favorite promotion was All Japan Women's Pro Wrestling from the late 70s until around 2002 when they really hit rock bottom. JWP Project from 1992 til around 1999 was second. Classic New Japan and All Japan, as well as UWF/UWFi/RINGS come in third.
I have a smattering of Lucha Libre, which is very interesting to watch, because its so different from American and Japanese Pro Wrestling. I need to get more Lucha.
WWE/ECW and TNA are all run by idiots, McMoron because he only gives people what he thinks is good wrestling (Oh, Pardon me Vince, I mean "Sports Entertainment".....douche). TNA has the same problem as late WCW, they don't have any idea in which direction they are going, and after a few weeks of showing that they knew what they were doing, they re-hire Vince Russo, who promptly chucks out everything they had planned and sends everything in chaos again.
Japan just isn't doing anything interesting right now, well, DragonGate might be, but its so hard to find out whats going on in DG.
Anyways, favorites:
Male Wrestler: Tough choice, currently Samoa Joe is my fave in the US, Dr. Wagner Jr. in Mexico, and Kenta Kobashi in Japan. Though all Time faves will be much harder to determine.
Female Wrestler: For the US, No one. Sure there are some pretty girls, but most of them have no in ring ability at all. For Mexico? I haven't seen any Luchadoras besides Lady Apache, and she didn't impress me much, I'm tempted to say La Galactica, but until I see her matches with Jaguar Yokota from 1984, I'm hesitant. For Japan, This is where it become difficult, Currently, Mariko Yoshida is tops with me. Of All Time, 4 way tie between Jaguar Yokota, Devil Masami, Akira Hokuto, and Bull Nakano.
Fave Match:
Singles Female: Akira Hokuto Vs. Shinobu Kandori, Dreamslam 1 1993
Tag Female: Manami Toyota/Toshiyo Yamada (AJW) Vs. Mayumi Ozaki/Dynamite Kansai (JWP), 2 out 3 falls for the WWWA World Tag titles. Dream Rush 1992
Multi Woman tag: Aja Kong, Kyoko Inoue, Takako Inoue, & Sakie Hasegawa Vs. Dynamite Kansai, Mayumi Ozaki, Cuty Suzuki, & Hikari Fukuoka, Thunderqueen Battle 1993
Singles Male: Nobuhiko Takada Vs. Super Vader, UWFi Undisputed World Heavyweight Title match, UWFi 1994
Tag Male: Toshiaki Kawada & Akira Taue Vs. Mitsuharu Misawa & Kenta Kobashi, not sure of the date at the moment, I think it was in 1994
Multiple Mens tag: Can't really think of one.
Favorite show: The Holy Trinity of Joshi: Dreamslam 1 & 2 (Both 1993), and Big Egg Wrestling Universe (1994)

WWE has been dead ever since the Attitude era ended and they're trying to make a new attitude era over again and it is failing... miserably

I didn't mean gay in the literal sense...gay as in it's retarded. It's fake. It's dumb. Dare I say, it's acting. UFC is two guys actually beating the **** out of each other.

Movies are fake, and yet people don't have a problem with that. Wrestling is Fighting theater essentially. The Workers are telling a story with each match, though, these days the stories suck as much as most hollowood blockbusters.

I know, but some of the stuff you seem them do, still makes you say "respect" because the real hardcore guys are willing to take some ****.

I haven't been keeping up with IWA-MS, and I thought Low Ki winning the TPI was kind of lame, but I still wanna see his match with Richards. Chris Hero and Claudio have been great this year, it's just too bad Double C is leaving for WWE. I was there when the Kings Of Wrestling won the ROH tag titles, and it had to be one of the greatest tag matches I'd ever seen.
I don't watch WWE for the aforementioned reasons, TNA was getting interesting until they bought in Russo like Daishikaze said. For US wrestling, I really only watch independents, like Ring Of Honor. It's really pound for pound the best wrestling on American soil. It's where Samoa Joe, CM Punk, AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels etc. all started out (and all still wrestle, except Punk) and where they subsequently put on their best matches. They also bring in a lot of international talent and the one thing they focus on is the in- ring product, not a bunch of stupid comedy skits. If you even vaguely like wrestling, they're worth a look. Other independents like PWG and Chikara are good, too.
The Japanese puroresu scene has gotten a bit more interesting lately, until Misawa won the GHC title back from Marufuji and Morishima and Yone won the tag team tournament. New Japan has some decent undercard stuff going on, but the main event scene with Nakamura and Tanahashi is bleh. I was so happy when Minoru Suzuki won the Triple Crown in All Japan, and he'll defend it against Nagata on New Japan's dome show which should be a nice shoot style match. I have not kept up with joshi puroresu but I read an article today that the Sendai Girls promotion is not doing so well.
And to the UFC guy, in case you're blind, UFC has tons of hype videos before fights, shows devoted to hyping their Pay Per Views, and interviews to supplement that, all the while schilling Xyience and whatever product sponsors them... hey, just like pro wrestling. How about that show The Ultimate Fighter? We get guys with "personalities" instead of real fight credentials to go on the show, have the fans pick a guy they like, who cares if they don't win... we'll still keep him around anyway because people liked him on TUF. Again, just like pro wrestling. The guys with skill go to the Japanese fighting orgs like Pride and K-1.

I prefer watching real combat sports like boxing, UFC, Pride, etc.

Pro-wrestling at its best is no worse than any of those if you don't keep telling yourself "its all fake".
Unfortunately, its in a huge slump and it doesn't look like its ever coming back.
I think that the WWE has really messed up the business as a whole because they have decided that they want to downplay the sports aspect, and play up the stupid theatrics. Most promoters think that they can duplicate McMoron's success by copying everything he does, So no one ever rises above that bush league level, not even TNA with their tv deal.
ROH does a great job with their matches, but much of what they do lacks Ring Psychology, so it fails to appeal to a larger crowd than what they already have.
Japan made the mistake of trying to compete with MMA, and it hurt the business over there as a result.
Joshi just got hit hard by financial troubles and too many big egos. Now there isn't a decent crop of youngsters to take over with the stars of yesterday retire.
its in a bad way these days

I actually think a lot of promotions (such as ROH) see the crap that WWE is putting on and don't want to emulate it all. The independents don't copy WWE, and TNA shoots on them whenever they can because even they can realize the stupidity of it all.
ROH matches have a ton of ring psychology, but the WWE match style has conditioned the casual fan to enjoy squashes and spotfests. It's ROHs emphasis on psychology is what sets them apart from everyone else. And the people who own ROH have said they don't plan to rise above an independent level anytime soon. I mean, look what happened to ECW when they got televised.
Puroresu is on a bit of a revival, NOAH was doing fine until the aforementioned Championship results, Marufuji as the face of the company could have done well for business because he's something new. All Japan is finally getting back on their feet with Suzuki holding the TC, the Voodoo Murders, and the recent Tag League... and New Japan running the Dome again will probably bomb, but at least they forced Inoki out, so they could end up being good again. MMA isn't looking too hot with Pride's recent yakuza scandal, and apparently K-1 drew abyssmal numbers at the dome for their recent championship tournament.
Finally, leading the revival is the new GPWA, which was started by Misawa and encompasses NOAH, Zero-1, Kensuke Office, Takayama Hall, and some other Japan indies like K-Dojo. ROH, Chikara, and some UK promotions are part of it as well. New Japan, All Japan and Dragon Gate aren't in on it, but it's still good for bringing pro wrestling fans together, showcasing younger talent, and maybe finally establishing a pro wrestling union.
There's still a long way to go, but I have hope.

If it hasn't already been said, another great promotion to check out is Ring of Honor. I caught some of their videos on their sight and many of their matches are awesome.

I would love Ring of Honor to get more exposure
ROHVIDEOS.com is a start
TNA is an absolute mess The fact of the matter is ever since they started they've had no freakin clue what the hell they're doing.
WWE entertains me but it's still MEH unless you're there with 30,000 people.
I was at Armageddon last year and in the asile at Summerslam this year purely awesomeness.
But I'm so fed up with the currant crop of wrestling that I started writing my own promotion. It's actlly 7 years old but the last 3 or 4 years I've been writing shows.
if you wanna check it out it's

It's a few weeks behind but everything for December has been written.
The Reverend is supposed to be me.
Hard Water is HHH's Brother (and starting at the next PPV he comes to the ring dressed like Alucard from Hellsing)
Kenji and James Grunewald are 2 guys I made up.
Most of the other Main Eventers are friends of mine IRL.

I'm like the rest of you guys here. I can't stand watching the WWE anymore, ever since 2002 it's been going downhill. So far the WWE only got me at Cryme Time and that's it. But pretty soon the WWE is in the market of bringing in a new female talent THAT CAN ACUTALLY WRESTLE by the name of Nattie Niedhart. I've heard of her, but never seen her work in the ring so I hope she'll bring some life to the slowly dieing Women's division.
Speaking of women's wrestling, I haven't been following up on my Joshi scenes. The last show I may have watched was a JD Star show sometime ago (Because my brother has a hard-on for Kei Akiyama), but I can always go back and start digging for more.
Oh so far my predictions on the next year:
- Homicide will win the ROH World Title
- Kenta Kobashi will return to the ring after beating Cancer
- Misawa's project will hopefully include american talent to bring diversity to us Americans who only watch WWE's garbage
- More US talent in Dragon's Gate
- Wrestling Society X will fail
- Total Extreme Wrestling 2007 will be the greatest game ever made
