Hey,
some of you might have checked out my music that I posted a while ago on here, but recently I submitted my music for the LA Music Awards 06 and I got a nomination !!! (I lost to some other guy from Tenessee, but I got into the top 4 !)

thank you so much for all your kind words. I must say AN has been one of the most uplifting communities (for the most part) for me to share my music. Even when you guys don't like the song, you don't just flame, you give constructive criticism. You guys (and girls) are AWESOME!

On lacking, the beats are messed up or something. Couldn't that song be done slower as well? I'm not sure if it's just the quality of the download or something else.
Do you use some synthesizer for your beats? Is that why they're kinda messed up but not in a big way? If so you're doing the best with what you got, but you should get a drummer for your beats, I'm not a pro in music, but that's what I think. It's good music, but not my type. I like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
Oh, and, you can have a Golden Chocobo.

also, naw i just used a drum kit. i record a loop and stuff... so yeah if it's slightly off, that's probably why. Thanks for the help !

I see, I did hear something on one track that I thought was a real drum, but then I heard it being slightly off again. I don't know how you can fix that, maybe make it longer?? That way the error will be heard less and less noticeable.
I wish I could sing, then I would write songs, but I just play the guitar.

guitar is cool... and my voice isn't all that great (some would say it sucks...) so yeah it's nice to be able to sing naturally... but some of it is just not caring what other people say and taking a shot at it. good luck w/ guitar !!! it's fun once you get the hang of it!
