Tough Choice for me and also since I haven't seen them all yet.

But naturally Sean Connery was the best Bond and Daniel Craig could be in 2nd place if the 2nd movie is as good as Casino Royale.

I always liked the theme for You only live twice and a View to a Kill is up there as well.

For Bond Film Casino Royale is right up there but I'm going to go with right now Thunderball and Goldfinger. Might change after I see all of the movies.

Brosnon was good but was in 3 of the worst Bond films ever.

Also has anyone picked up the Ultimate edition DVDs yet?

goldfinger was awesome, especially since my dad was stationed at fort knox, so he likes it and we watch it together= awesomeness...

I think COnnery is the best by far, I really enjoy the one in japan, cant remember the name, especially the fight scene at the end inside the lake base

I expect this being an anime forum for that movie to come up. That's You Only Live twice.

1) Craig, ATM.
2) Eh, dunno. I don't have all of them on hand, only Casino Royale's, so I dunno.
3) GoldenEye.

^On the note of the Ultimate Editions, since I am a relatively "light" Bond fan (only seen a couple of the older films, all but one of the Brosnan films and Casino Royale), I've been meaning to pick them up. Bond rocks, and to have all of the films on DVD would be spiffy. I hear they have hardkore extras, too.

Connery is the best, though I enjoy many of Moore's films, since he was Bond when I was a kid.

Themes? Tough one. I like the theme from You Only Live Twice.

Fave Film? Thats really hard to choose, I love so many of them but.......I suppose From Russia With Love wins for me. Gold Finger comes close though

Pierce Brosnon (Sean Connery in 2nd).

Casino Royale (Tomorrow Never Dies in 2nd).

Chris Curtis (I think his name is) from Audioslave and Savage Garden and I don't know the name of the song, seen it earlier on MTV2 and forgot the name. I had had no sleep though, so gimme a break. (Guns And Roses Live And Let Die in 2nd. GNR are my fav band, but that song not all that amazing. View To A Kill by Duran Duran is a close 3rd).

I hated the last Bond flick, so I really didn't want to see this. And I was made to see it, and loved it.

But I want to add something.

Bond Girl?

I'd probably say Denise Richards, or that Brit bird form the last one who was also in DOOM.

Chris Cronell and he's from Audioslave and Soundgarden. The song is You know my name.

Favorite bond girl........whoooooooo boy. Eva Green sure did strike my fancy in Casino Royale.

yeah Die another day was on like late Roger Moore level horribleness and this was the 40th anniversery film. Casino Royale would've been a better choice I think Brosnon would've been good in it. But Daniel Craig has it. lets hope the writing of the next one allows him to keep it.

Seconded. Runners up include Barbara Bach (The Spy Who Loved Me) and Michelle Yeoh (Tomorrow Never Dies).

IMO DC isn't a Bond, at all. He didn't look or feel like a Bond.

Thanks for the heads up on Cronell :)

But having 3 hours sleep out of 48 ****s you up, lol.

Eva was very hot :)

Yeoh, man is she hot :)

Sean Connery / Live And Let Die / From Russia With Love

I've played the game From Russia With Love. (probably one of the worst shooters I've seen.) but if the game is accurate from the movie, I'd love the movie. more then golden eye. Tomorrow never dies is good too.

I wasn't to keen on Russia.

The only four i've seen and liked (and there's only about 5 I haven't seen) were Dr. No, Goldfinger, TMND and CR.

BTW, anyone see the original CR?

With Peter Sellers? It was on T.V one time, but I had games to play. Just wondering what it was like, because it was the spoof Bond film.

If you're looking for the better Bond spoof, I'd recommend Our Man Flint. The original Casino Royale is an interestingly bizarre train wreck, but not as effective a parody as it could be.

Or, obviously, there's Austin Powers...

Goldeneye really got me into the bond franchise.
For me, I hear bond themes, and the first one in my head is what's considered the overall bond theme, then I start thining of other themes, but none of them particularly stick out for me.
Connery as the actor though. Then Brosnan, then Craig. Craig just isn't as Bond as the others.

From what I hear the reason the movie is such a wreak is because Peter Sellers and Orsen Wells didn't get a long and stormed off the set thus the movie had to be rewitten.

there's also a 1 hour TV version that isn't a comedy for Casino Royale

The World is Not Enough
Tomorrow Never Dies

So far Casino Royale is the one that I can take most seriously and artistically... But maybe it's just because I just saw it recently...
