Do you have any of your psds saved? I was thinking that it'd be a good idea to get a psd site going. I've looked around the internet a lot, and it's really really hard to find any psd sites for anime. So what would you think about starting a psd site? It doesn't have to be a private server, it can be one of those free subdomains. Well?

I didn't save any. They're all in JPEG.

Would you mind saving them later if you make any? But don't do it right away, I'd have to know if anyone else is willing to do it too.

I have a majority of my banners saved as .psd's. Or do you mean the image (original size) used? I can start dong that in the future. You have a really good idea, PublikEnemy.

Anyone have any idea on what we should call it? Are we allowed to affiliate it with AN or not?

I saved all of mine in a JPG format. Would a PSD site be a good idea? We would be using AN's logo and all that. I'm not sure, but that could go into copyright infringement.

Shouldn't be a problem using the logo and all, as long as it's clear that it's *not* AN. The main problem we run into with stuff like this is the concern that for example, someone hears of AN, ends up there, and goes away thinking that's us. Other than that, should be fine.

Well, anyway, when I make new banners, I can go ahead and save them as a PSD I suppose. When I eventually make more, I'll send you the PSD.

Thanks videl.
I meant psd as in, when you (if you) cut out an image you find on the internet, so you can stick in a different background.
Something like this site:

I kept thinking you mean Photoshop document. PNG is the transparent image you're talking about. At least that's the term I hear most of the time. I actually don't use PNG's much. I usually take the image, tweak it a bit, and then use that as a background, and play around with it. I'll do what I can though.

I meant psd as in the photoshop file format. Basically it's just a file that'll open in photoshop. But whatever you can do will be cool. Thanks. I'll try setting up an email for it.

Lemme know what you think, or if there are any glitches. And if anyone would be so kind, would you please make an introduction to the site?

In order to make one, wont we have to have the password and Username you used when creating the site? Or do you want us to make one here? I can type one up later if you want.

Most of them are all about the same. If you plan to have a site like that, a domain name, paid hosting, and high bandwidth are all a necessity.

Durn...
That's kinda wiggidy whack...I can host the psd files on a different host, like myfilehut, because that has plenty room, and none of that exceeding the upload limit stuff. But I'll need geocities to hold the actual website.

Yeah, those kinds of sites mattering on how popular they are get a lot of traffic. You should plan a bit more, and think if this is something you can actually keep up with. There's a lot of competition for those kind of sites.

You're right, I'll probably never have time to maintain a site, but I'll keep psds just in case.
