why the hell is hollow stuff spanish?

hey guys, finally caught up on the manga up until chapter 233. now i cant figure out why all of the hollow terms, and sometimes the hollow names, are in spanish. how in the hell do you get japanese death gods and spanish together? Chad is one exception, but the vastoourde silhouettes look like they have sombreros on. does anyone have ANY clue!?

btw, screw the fillers, this sh*t is AWESOME!!! except the arrancar are beating the living crap outa the shinigami. though the vizards would definitely do better....at least before Kenpachi and the little dwarf on his back known as yachiru step in....im pretty sure that all bleach fans wanna see her fight. that and Kenpachi's shikai:D if he got that...Aizen would be one big skidmark

Note: Kenpachi is always in Shikai.

Plus I thought that the Vasto Lorde Sillohouette looks like Ulquirroia with a full mask.

Anywho , I reckon Aizen is Spanish or simply likes Spain as a base for his names. It also makes them different and gives them some individuality.
Spanish has been used since very early on in the manga though i.e.

Hueco Mundo - Hollow World

Menos Grande - "menos" means minus and "grande" means big therefore "Big Minus"

Maybe you're not aware, but it's obvious Kubo likes to use spanish; you'll often see manga chapters with spanish titles in addition to the character names. It's actually nice to see terms and names in a different language. It may also be to show the stark contrast between the shinigami world and that of the hollows; they're nothing alike, why should their names be similar?

um, hello!? kenpachi never knew his swords name. he said he never wanted to. plus there are a ton of other references, one being that he's the only captain that doesnt even have shikai. the only constant release zanpakuto that has been seen is zangetsu.

Kenpachi's spirit energy is so high, it automatically made his zanpakuto release into its shikai form. I know it's a BS excuse, but sadly it IS canon.

You know what I think I think having a unsealed sword isn't the same thing as having a shi-kai. I think having a shi-kai is at least knowing the swords name and being able to draw power from it. The whole argument makes sense that way.

We don't even know if it really is a true Zanpkautou though, becuase he had that sword from when he first met Yachiru when most Shinigami get their Zanpakutou when they graduate from Shinigami school.

Anyway this topic is on the use of Spanish with the Hollows not Kenpachi's Sword.

To japanese people, spanish is almost exotic I suppose, it isn't something you hear everyday. Hallow are the same, in Japan it isn't something you hear everyday.


Alot of terms used in American entertainment (sci-fi is so guilty of this) are founded in other languages... japanese, korean, arab.....

The language (or religion) could have been anything so long as it was foreign, the choice is rather arbitrary.
