Any Beatle fans out there pick this up yet?
I just got my copy this morning and so far I'm in love with it.

What they did was re-master and/or mixed songs together to create an all new experience. It's pretty crazy.

Might limewire it, it looks pretty cool.

I'm buying that Beatles all-the-cds-and-bsides-ever collection and it's like 230 clams, so they're getting enough of my money.

well I might look into it after i buy all of their original Albums, i'm not a big fan of mixed albums, when all of their songs are worth every cent.

I am a big fan of Remixing though if they didn't ruin the original beyond comparison i'm down with that. but if it's some other band trying to cover them and duplicate the tracks i'm out.

Wow, another Beatles greatest hits album that doesn't have Twist and Shout on it, not to mention many of my other favorites missing from these discs.

This isn't necessarily a greatest hits or a true compilation. It's a soundtrack to the show in Las Vegas at Cirque de Solier(SP).

I have this album and I absolutely love it, I recommend it for every Beatles fan. And trust me, they didn't completely destroy all of the tracks and make them weird. George and Giles Martian did a damn good job with this.

My first post here...so be gentle... :naughty: I noticed this discussion while perusing the site. For what it's worth my girlfriend and I saw LOVE in Las Vegas in Oct. It's a great show. The music is wonderful...and you do sit there and go, "I haven't heard the song like this before". The Beatles are never depicted on stage. It's all Cirque's intruppretation of their music. I understand George (Harrison) had been friends with Cirque's founder and they had talked about this concept. George (Martin) supplied previously unrecorded tracks of the music. If you have the chance take in the show. It's worth the price (though we could only afford the cheap seats).

I would love to see it, if it ever hits Philadelphia.

I don't think it's a traveling show, it's a Cirque de Sloleil special in Las Vegas.

You are correct. It is now one of 5 Cirque shows in Vegas. It has it's own theatre at Treasure Island.

I dont want it, for the fact that I have all the music it on it already, so theres no point in me getting it, even all the music when they went on their own I have it all. Especially Ringos, but I'm glad they are coming back a tad.

My older can sum up this album in one word.

****!

He's a Beatles fan, bought it the other day and absolutley hates it, he says it's terrible.

He also says that many of the joins between tracks are just noise.

Eh? I didn't find that at all. I thought the production was very well done. I was skeptical and particularly looked out for where the tracks intertwine, but found nothing wrong.

Ah well, idfferent strokes for different folks.
