No, I'm pretty sure Japan doesn't celebrate it.

I'm heading to my parents house tomorrow for dinner with the immediate family; I'm supposed to help cook, so I should call my mom and ask her what time she wants me there...

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Happy (day before) Thanksgiving to all!! Tomorrow I get to eat a lot and call every Chinese person I know and ask the ultimate question: chicken or turkey?

Yes, but I seriously hate my family. I'm a pretty nice person, but I just can't stand being around a single one of them.

And why didn't it censor ******?

^Yep, a holiday about crashing on boat on a rock and nearly starving through the winter only to turn around and wipe out our benfactors. It's great.

well our edition of thanksgiving is pretty much the same. Waitangi Day: the day we celebrate the fact that we forced the Maori to sign a treaty which allows us to steal their land, and then when they want to keep living there, we kill em.

To paraphrase Eddie Izzard - Oh? The land belongs to everyone? What a strange system of ownership you have...

Turkey, turkey, and more turkey. Going to pick up my old man and bring him over and we are going to have a family dinner. Then Saturday my sci-fi group and the anime club are having Thanksgiving get togethers. Should be a fun holiday to be sure. Everyone, have a good time.

Tomorrow is Thanksgiving? Damn...Well, that would explain why I'm not at school right now. Suuuuuuuuuurrrrrre, that would explain it. Actually, I guess it would...

Anywayz, I'm not at all excited. One of my favourite things about this Holiday used to be like visiting my mom's extended family and waiting for a fight to break out. Even without the fighting (Although, there would always be a fight), that family is just plain crazy. Unfortunately, they still haven't Made-Up (BIG FEUD).

The food? I don't care. My parents haven't asked me to help cook anything, and I really don't want to help, anywayz. Turkey is dead to me. Ham ain't all that great, either.

Really, I'm only looking forward to Black Friday. I think the Madness will be good for me. And, it's about Time I start ruining my Credit.

Going to some relatives tommorrow and be happy that I don't have to work again until late Friday and for only four hours.

I about died at school today. They figured we needed a "break" before the break, so they put on October Sky in the auditorium.
Sure it was a good movie, but I'm ADHD off the charts and can't sit still and quiet for more than a half hour. THEN, after the movie was over, they put on a stupid SCIENCE movie and I just cried in my seat.

I wish I had a turkey to stuff. :(

Replace 'turkey' with 'girl' and 'stuff' with the f-bomb.

Anyway, happy Thanksgiving to you all. I hate you all equally.

And we hate you just as much! *Thumbs Up*

But yeah, Happy Turkey Day everyone. May you all gain 20 pounds.

I hope everyone's Thanksgiving Day break has started better than mine became today.

You know what I'm thankful for? The Atlanta Police Department catching the mother f-bomb-er who broke into my car this afternoon. Smashed the entire rear passenger window out; cops actually caught him in my car. Adventures through the legal system now... as if I don't have enough BS to deal with.

Well, I don't want to ruin this thread of well-wishes and holiday cheer anymore than I already have. It can only get better from here; happy turkey day again, everyone.

Oh golly, it is Thanksgiving!!! (it's not officially celebrated in Mexico but some families like myself do actually celebrate it)

I'd better tell my dad though I doubt he's in the mood of actually cooking a turkey today with the horrid cold weather we've had as of late (this morning it was like 34 degrees F which is inhumane, simply imhumane).

Nice gift for myself at least that I passed my first final exam. Now just 6 more finals to pass and I'm in 6th semester W00t!!!

Well my Thanksgiving has gone to hell.
First I had to spend half the day watching out for my cat who gave birth to two cute twin kittens. Then I find out my mother is in the hospital after being the victim of a hit and run. Good thing we had insurance, I just hope she's ok. This is why I believe in treating driving as a legitamate skill with the required licensing test more akin to motorsport testing instead of a written test. I'm on my way there now. I hope for the best and didn't mean to ruin the spirit

aren't thanksgivings the best when the family is fighting  I had two lunches today, one after the other, and nothing else. I really hate turkey, if I ever eat it again it must atleast be curried.

Full as hell and not surprised if I gained at least 10 pounds.
^^This is why I have nightmares of putting Prons and my grandpa in the same room. My grandmother would commit suicide.

I just got back from mom and dad's and just put some left-overs away. Tommorrow night we're having our Second Annual Thanksgiving Redux at a friend's house.

Everything was delicious and made up for the horrible night I had Wednesday. Hope everyone's was nice; Axl, I hope your mom's okay.

Sorry to hear about the Bills Axl.
Im glad your mothers fine.
My mom had recently come down with Pnuemonia (Spelling? Please.)
And so I know that feeling.
At my age, 17, I cannot imagine a world without my mother.
