View Full Version : Quick question about the season 1 box...

Hey, I'm sure all of you who bought the season 1 box noticed those awful Cartoon Network stickers on the side. They happened to be super sticky, and I was wondering what methods loyal FMA fans used to get them off? I got one off, but the stick is still left behind on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Not sure if I should have posted in this in the DVD section, but we'll see how it goes.

What Season 1 box are you talking about? Only boxsets out there right now are bootlegs.

Use a dilute solution of isopropyl alcohol to remove sticky marks left behind by self-adhesive labels on just about anything. It is usually sold as some kind of cleaning fluid. I've seen it marketed as screen-cleaner, cassette head cleaner, and for various other purposes. It is often called 'rubbing alcohol'.

Regardless of whether it is a bootleg, that's still useful information, and there's no need to withhold it. Do remember to use a dilute solution though, and don't wet the box too much.

I use paint thinner to clean sticky marks on items:lol: Hey, it worked.

Best bootleg I ever seen. Either that, or the Best Buy I purchased it from must have real tight connections with FUNi.

Right, like i said, unless your best buy was special and had a huger tin, the item you pictured is usually just the tin, volume one & ost. The season 1 box would contain volumes 1-6.
