So, to make sure...we can have signature pictures now? Or are we still going by not allowing that?

It seems unlikely that the admins would change their mind about this after so long. It's more likely a by-product of the switch to the vBulletin 3.6.x series. I'd guess that sig images are a feature which is on by default.

If people don't want to see sig pics, they can go into the CP and disable such things.

Or if the Admins don't want us using them, they can go into a different CP and disable them entirely. I'm pretty sure that will be the case. This is not an argument about how irritating or otherwise sig images are. It's about whether or not Kevin and his associates will permit them on their forum. I'm convinced that this must be a mistake, personally.

No sig pics, option should be turned off for everyone now.

I really, utterly and truly hope that image sigs are not enabled. If they are, then there should be rules governing sig use, such as:
- Only one sig visible per person, per thread, and only on their first post within that thread
- The "include signature" checkbox should be OFF, by default, on any post.
- The size of an image sig should be no larger than the current avatar size in height (80 pixels?) and of standard forum post width (no stretching)
- A user can have a text sig or an image sig, but not both
- No animated images in the sig
That said, I'd still find them incredibly obnoxious to look at, even with those restrictions.
Edit: Yay! No image sigs!

Personally for a Forum like this that is running both a store and a Communications network. I think sig images would be a big annoyance to those who are trying to make an honest post. Large images screw up the text box, and small images really don't make the signature any nicer other then making the post box look fancy. As an artist it's frustrating to understand i can't place small thumbnails in my signature. but at the same time, i understand the business disadvantage of such images. you have an Avatar placed in a good enough spot, i see no reason to clutter the rest of the page with images.

No sig pics, option should be turned off for everyone now.Yeah, I just knew it. The option must have been on by default after the upgrade.
