Japan Expo & TME COSPLAY FASHION SHOW!
TME with the cooperation of the Japan Expo will put on a Cosplay fashion show at the LA Convention Center on Saturday November 18, 2006 starting at 4pm . Viewing and participating in the show is complimentary with the cost of admission which will be donated to the Japan Historical Foundation.
Contest rules are as follows:
All costumes must be representation of actual character designs from anime, manga or Japanese video games.
All costumes must be PG.
All contestants must fill out and sign the Waiver/Image Release Form on day of contest.
Any contestant under 18 years of age at the time of the contest must have their parent or legal guardian sign the appropriate section of the Waiver/Image Release Form.
All contestants must be respectful and careful of each other, their costumes and props at all times. Willful damage of costumes and/or props as well as inappropriate behavior/manners toward other contestants or staff will result in disqualification.
Contestants are prohibited from jumping or running off stage.
The use of Flash Powder, Fireworks, Lasers, Electrical Flashes or Smoke Machines are prohibited.
This event is for amateur costumers. Professional or compensated seamstresses, tailors, costumers, clothiers, performers, etc. may not participate in competition.
Purchased or Rental costumes are prohibited.
Costumes should not be constructed with messy substances or materials. Paint or make up should not come off during casual contact with others.
Costumes must be self-contained. Connections to electrical sockets will not be available.
All props must be inspected and approved by the Contest Coordinators. Real weapons are strictly forbidden.
Any applications maybe disqualified at the discretion of the Event Coordinators.
We will contact you regarding your entry. Winners must be present to win their award. Prizes are non negotiable. TME and Japan Expo employees and affiliates are ineligible to win prize.

Best in Show $100
Second Place : $50
Runner up $ 25
