a question about ichigo

i recently got the ps2 game bleach blade battlers and in it there was a ichigo who had white hair and seemed insanewhat did this to him as i have only seen the episodes that have aired in america

Oh, you must mean HOLLOW Ichigo! You find out that Ichigo has a Hollow inside of him at around the middle of the Soul Society arc, although he doesn't take over until Ichigo's fight with Byakuya. He eventually learns how to keep control him in more recent chapters of the manga, although it's somewhat hinted that Hollow Ichigo will surface again.

Well, the black hakama is the traditional outfit of the standard shinigami, although the captains wear a white haori over their uniforms.

As for the all white outfits, those must be the arrancar, which are Hollows who removed their masks to gain shinigami powers. The one who created them, as well as his two subordinates, seemed to have abandoned their shinigami outfits for white robes as well.

There aren't any Arrancar in that game as far as I know; I believe it's all Captains, Vice Captains, and Lieutenants (in addition to the main protagonists). I'm not sure who you're referring too then; of the 23 character cast, I think the only all-white wearing characters are Hollow Ichigo and Ishida (in Quincy-wear).

I think he means how Ichigo and Renji wear black and Histugaya and Byakuya wear white, the people with the white are Captians like Lord Kuroishi said because t jay has never seen an Arrancar.

All black - Regular Shinigami, Ichigo, Renji etc.

Black with white over it - Captains like Byakuya and Hitsugaya

All white - Arrancar

Theres a game-original Arrancar in that game callled Arturo Plateado that doesn't appear in the manga or anime and I think ulquiorria is in it aswell

I've been playing for a while and I haven't seen hide nor hair yet of any Arrancar, original or not. I think you're refering to the Wii Bleach game, "Shiraha Kirameku Rinbukyoku", not the PS2's "Blade Battlers".
