I saved a document in MS ACCESS and now when i try to bring it up it acts like i told it to make a new one instead of bringing up the one i saved. I saved it as data access. I need to import it onto MS word.
Thanks in advance

Granted, I've only messed with this for like five minutes (and most of that was trying to remember what the Access file extension was), but how did you get your document saved as an ".mdb" without it defaulting to ".doc"? I manually tried it and it's been saved as ".mdb.doc". And Word only has text-based options in the Save As drop-down window...
In short - cannot duplicate error.

Microsoft Access is a Database Application program and is intended to be used to organize data in tables to store the data and queries to pull the data. The only thing you can do about importing that data from MS Access into MS Word would be to highlight your records and right click inside your database. You should be able to copy it into the clipboard; which could easily be pasted into a MS Word document. Hope that helps.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention this. You can only save MS Access Reports in Word or Excel format as you can take advantage of their editing or charting capabilities respectively, but editing your Access Reports will not reflect those you saved in those other formats.
