On the artist's site it says he's still working on series two. Maybe they're waiting till he gets done.

That would be freakin awesome if a Take on Me anime was released, but you'll notice on the back of that cover that it's not an advertisement for an actual anime. The actors listed aren't actors, they're just the character names, it lists an editor, a printing office, and a publishing office. He was just parodying a movie box.
