Help !! Kyo kara maoh ??

Hi everyone :)
I'm planing to start watching kyo kara maoh the 1st season but I wana know if its good or not , the characters look awsome but what I mean, is it fun like Saiyuki (( comedy , drama & MOST IMPORTANT characters relationships !! )) or is it like Knight Hunters WeiB Kreuz just nice characters but I felt nothing is happening between the characters not even friendship , not even one touching moment !!!! ((this is only in the 1st season I dont know about WeiB Kreuz Gulhen ))

I like KKM a lot. I haven't seen the whole series, but what I've seen so far is pretty lighthearted and cute and funny. Certianly better writing than WK had.

It has a lot of comedy in it aswell as a bit of seriousness. The character themselves are great and their relationships with each other vary. Overall though this is a very good series and I enjoyed watching it.

I haven't seen Saiyuki or WeiB Kreuz, so I can't compare Kyou Kara Maou to them, but I have seen almost all of Kyou Kara Maou ("almost all" being "71 out of 78 episodes") and I love it. For the most part, it's comedy, but it does have serious, dramatic moments.

I think the characters are what keep the series going. KKM is a little more episodic than most anime, so while there are few major plotlines that tie blocks of episodes together, most of the episodes can more or less stand on their own. (Not that that's a bad thing; that's just how the series is.) But the characters and their interactions with each other and with their unique world are what makes Kyou Kara Maou so much fun to watch.

Also, based off your avatar and penname and the fact that you posted in the Yaoi/Yuri forum, I'm assuming you're a shounen-ai fan. The romance in KKM is not as blatant as the romance in Gravitation, but there are definitely some heavy hints of shounen-ai. An added bonus for shounen-ai fans. ;)

KKM is a lot more like Saiyuki than Weiss. Actually, I wasn't all that fond of Weiss because the story was boring and the characters had almost no personality or depth.

I would say it's along the lines of Saiyuki when it comes to comedy. KKM is very funny and has a lot of cool characters with their own quirks. And if you are looking for BL bits, there are no official couples, but there are heavy implications everywhere. This anime was made to please the fangirl crowd.

Thats what I'm looking for , I like relationships between characters (boys) , friendship , rivary , love , care , siblings , etc , but some anime like WeiB Kreuz 1st season was a major disapointment when it comes to relationships althought the characters looked interesting :)

lol yush XD might be why theres soooooo much fan fiction for that series ^_^
