how do threads get deleted and can I delete a thread I started if it is finished. also there was a thread I was involved in about why more people like japanese anime rather than american anime if anyone knows this thread did it get deleted I was just on it yesterday. tks

Threads being deleted aris usualy a result of them contradicting one or more rules, if your thread was fine try using the forums search function to see if it was moved to another section or if its on the second or even third page of a forum.

I did not start the thread but I did post in it and I did a search for all my posts and the one for that thread was not there.

Mattering on the time you posted it, it could have been deleted in the big AN cleanup of 06'. Most likely though, if when you search, and come up with nothing, it's been deleted. Sorry. Although a Google search will sometimes help too if you remembered what you wrote. I can't tell the amount of times something I posted came in a Google search.
