Many of you have probably heard of the bl game Togainu no Chi. The maker, Nitro+chiral, will be releasing their second game soon, entitled Lamento. It should be out October 27.

Anyway, the game looks really cool! Lots of catboys. Catboys aren't my thing but these ones actually look pretty. (At least most do.)

I'm especially interested in Rai, voiced by Morikawa Toshiyuki (mmm!!). Most of the seiyuu use aliases. =.( The only ones I knew were/recognized as real names were Sasanuma Akira (Takaba in Finder no Hyouteki drama), Nakahara Shigeru (Trowa in Gundam W), and Yasumura Makoto.

Anyhoo~ I'm looking forward to seeing a CG set for this. .^^

PS Don't ask about the story because I'm too lazy to read and summarize all that Japanese. X.D Just looking at the pretty graphics for now.

EDIT: Okay, it's got something to do with curses and stuff. Magical~! X.D Probably involves those cool tattoos everyone has on their forearms.

It's just coming out in Japan.
I wouldn't be surprised if a game like Togainu no Chi got licensed for North American release since it's doing so well in Japan. Many people have said it's one of the best BL games ever.

Mwa ha ha ha! Sometimes the imagination is better than full visuals, ne? Maybe that's the reason there's so many yaoi manga out there and very few yaoi anime. :P

I thought that some parts of SP uncensored were kinda gross too. At one part it it actually looks like one of the guys is crapping because of the seme's skin tone.

Yeah, same here, though he does 'look' a little older by a bit in the game (at least in his teens). Of course, I kinda love how when you read the warning at the begining of the game it says "all characters portrayed are 18 years or older"...um...yeeaaah. I just kinda got cause, yeah "Yaoi game? Seriously!?"

Of course, it isn't all that thrilling ^^; IMO. The story isn't interesting enough to play through many times to get all 8 endings and stuff -_-.

I never saw the censored SP xD. Maybe I should watch it on YouTube :P. I didn't mind it uncensored though ^_~.

I was feeling particularly nice, so I decided to translate the story section of that site. The game looks really pretty. ^_^ The music's interesting, too.

-Story-

From animals to plants, it was a mysterious phenomenon that threatened all live on the earth. From the destruction wrought by "The Void," the village of Karou slides into famine, and in time the villagers are forced into a livelihood of eating corpses as food. The precaution against further starvation - the soul of once living flesh. That's right, the last desperate measure of the cats, having lost all hope, was the method of "living sacrifice." From the cats of the village, one is chosen as a sacrifice. To satisfy the hunger of their fellow cats...

All the cats in the village fear the fate of their bodies on the morrow. In that village of such decadent turmoil lived Konoe, but one day, his body undergoes a change. A black pattern resembling a scar surfaces on his skin, and his ears and tail are dyed black. It was spoken in legend that such an inauspicious symbol was the proof of a curse.

-I have to leave this village.

There is no time to speak to the ill-fated cats of the village that won't survive tomorrow, the day they will be forced to resort to cannibalism. "If they saw me like this..." Sensing the impending danger, Konoe makes the decision to leave Karou.

The destination, the largest city in Sisa, Ransen. If it's Ransen, I may find a way to return this body to normal. Believing thus, Konoe leaves on his journey, all the while beguiled by the dangers of "The Void."

Haha, I never thought of it that way, but now that you mention it, it sort of does, huh. .^^;; In the second story, I couldn't help noticing the seme's fuzzies. .^^;;;;;;;;; Looked rather weird.

Don't you love those warnings? It's hilarious how characters can look obviously underage but the warning will still insist that they're over 18.

I never have the patience to play the games on my own. I always look for walkthroughs online. I've really only played 3 BL games before: Sukisho! 1-3. Well, 4 if you include the fan disk. But ya, I've still not finished the 3rd game. Kinda lost interest in playing. Just give me the CG set and I'll be happy, though for LAMENTO, I'd like to hear the audio too since Morikawa's Rai must be uber smexy.

I highly doubt you will find SP on YouTube since they're really cracking down on copyright infringments, and they don't allow porn.
