Ok, so I write anime-articles for a game magazine in my country (Bulgaria) and I'm gonna write about RahXephon for our next issue. The problem is I can't seem to find too much art that is big enough and given I have five whole pages to fill, it's quite a pain. I'm sick of the standart RX wallpapers and artbook scans with site logos on them, so if any1 could direct me to a place with quality hi-res art, I'd really appreciate it.

I might be too late but I'm gonna give the info for you or anyone else thats interested anyway. www.animepaper.net has the hugest archive of large scans of anime. You can only have access if you upload or if you donate money though. But its worth it IMO.
www.minitokyo.net has a pretty good amount too but not always as much as animepaper.

Those sites are pretty crummy in the respect that you need to upload stuff in order to download from them. Do you have some other places?

Well the scans are rather large & they have tons so their bandwidth suffers & it costs them a lot of money so they created a system where you have to give to recieve.
Anyway at www.minitokyo.net you don't have to upload or anything, your just limited to downloading 5-10(something like that, I forget) free every 24 hours.
I don't know of any other anime sites with such large archive of high quality scans.

Oh, OK. If it just works as a throttle so you don't download more than a set amount each day, then that's good. In a similar vein, A-M-V.org won't let you download too many videos without giving some minimal feedback in the form of star ratings (optionally with a comment).
Anime Paper on the other hand, I've completely given up on - that system encourages people to just upload other people's art or make redundant uploads.

You have to earn the downloads. Theres other ways than just uploading, posting at the forums for example or donating money.

Well, as long as it doesn't turn into Gaia gold digging forum spamming..... :)
